Had a good grip and size so you can stick it almost anywhere on the car. comes with sticky pads for your phone that you can place on the inside of the phone case or the outside of the phone case. Portable and adjustable!

I mean - I know I'm not the only one who has struggled with the claims that so many of these car mount systems make. Some are just ridiculous. For our compact cars, we wanted a mount that would be comfortable on a bright sunny glass window in a parking lot for 6 hours or able to really adhere to a vertical surface on the side of a center console.

The WIXGEAR Magnetic Car Mount has been the best of all that we have tried. A really small (by comparison) footprint makes mounting it in convenient places in a car much easier than one would think. The adhesive used as endured direct sunlight on 36c days and not detached. It's adjustability is great - with the limiting factors really being what device are you mounting and where are you mounting it. I can't speak to its portability as I bought them for permanent mounting requirements but nearly a year later, they are still firmly planted in our cars. Will buy again!

These are great for car mounting your phone. We have bought several times and recommended to friends. We put the metal plade under the cell phone case and it sticks to the magnet just fine. A regular iPhone stays put, but a Pro Max or Plus can be a little heavy and may pop off in rough roughts. For interstate driving it works great.

First, I purchased these cell phone mounts in September 2020. I have loved them and still love them, even after one broke. I prefer a stick-on mount over a suction mount because it stays put. In contrast, all suction mount cell phone mounts lose their suction after a few months and need to be re-mounted and over time, the suction cup becomes less pliable and it doesn't stay put for any reasonable amount of time. Also, I like the ability to just place the phone on the mount and being able to take it off without needing to release anything. The one downfall with magnetic mounts is that if the phone has any wireless charging, the thin metal plate interferes with that ability to do so. The metal plate must either be mounted on the phone itself or a phone case if you have one. The latter is preferable because you will not mess up the phone by adhering a metal plate to it and you could always take off the case to charge wirelessly if needed.

As for why I am writing the review, as I mentioned at the beginning, one of them broke. Specifically, it was the part that the ball goes into and the phone itself mounts on. The issue is that the threading on the part broke. This is because instead of being a full cylinder surrounded by threads, it must be four pieces to allow it to squeeze together a bit to tighten the grip around the ball joint. The threads are made of plastic. In conjunction with this being in a car where the temperature can go from well over 100 degrees to the 70s in a matter of minutes in the summer after one turns on any air conditioning, I would think plastic is less able to handle that than it was made out of metal. So if the mount is loose in the summer, instead of just tightening it more, it should be taken off and checked to make sure the plastic is not already cracked. If you look at the picture I included, you will notice three of the four parts that the threads are molded into are broken off.

I will say that it was not difficult to just take off the mount to place another one on after getting it. Also, if needed for some reason, the magnetic portion from the part in the picture can be removed by removing a screw so one could reuse it.

However, as I mentioned, I love this mount. That is why I purchase another set. I would have given it 3 1/2 stars if that were possible since I feel that it is in the 3 1/2 to 4-star range, leaning more to the 3 1/2 stars though.

These work great! I had some from another company and they changed the look but also were 2X more expensive. These work just same and cost so much less.

These WixGear magnetic mounts are amazing. The magnets are really strong, and my phone snaps into place instantly and stays secure even on bumpy roads. Installation took seconds - just peel, stick, and it's ready to go.

I like that you get two in the pack, so I used one in my car and one in my truck. They're small, sturdy, and don't take up space on the dashboard. Overall, great quality and totally worth it. Highly recommend!

I like the design but the magnet is not strong enough to hold my iPhone securely all the time. I do have one of the larger phones, and with a case, it’s heavier than usual. My rating is simply based on my experience with my phone.

Product looks solid. The glue strength is really impressive. I’ve used pricy scosche holders before and the tape is strong, this one i’d say appeared stronger. The built quality is overall commendable. Bang for your buck

I was sceptical at first for the price. These are amazing phone holders. The magnet is super strong. It sticks really well to the dashboard. It’s ideal as there are two in the box along with extra metal plates and adhesive pads.

Brilliant item, good value and well worth the money.
