Like to write? Love writing crossovers? Great! There is a new challenge, called crossovers_las , where you write a fanfic of at least 100 words every two weeks based on a different prompt and where all pairings, including slash, is allowed! Then they get voted on and the person with the least votes is out that week and the person with the most is safe the next week till you have one author standing who wins! What do you win? A snazzy graphic and a $10 GC to Amazon or Barnes & Noble. You don't even need to be a GREAT writer!

Whedon Fest is a convention happening in Toronto, Canada on Oct 1 - 3, 2010 at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Centre.

Guests include Amy Acker and Christian Kane, both in their first Canadian convention appearances! (They also don't do many conventions!)
Also attending is Nick Brendon, with more guests to come!
The weekend includes autographs, photographs, guest talks, charity auction, panels, Geek-Off tournament, Saturday night dance and masquerade, giveaways, contests and much more!

The BRP - Bronzers Reunited Party - is a charity event to be held at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday the 16th of February 2008 to raise money for Equality Now.

In 1998 a wonderful committee arranged a gathering in LA for Bronzers from around the world to meet up and celebrate not only Buffy and Angel, but also a friendship created while simultaneously raising money for charity. As the show came to an end so did the parties.

So, in celebration of the wonderful times we had, a few of us Bronzers have decided to create a tenth anniversary reunion event in memory of the Posting Board Parties. We have aspired to keep the party as close to the original PBPs as possible (though it is not the PBP and no infringement is intended upon the committee who ran it).

The BRP itself will begin at 6pm. There will be a DJ playing music in between the evenings activities, however, not too loud so you can still chat to your fellow Jossverse fans! We have two fantastic bands playing for you: Darling Violetta & Four Star Mary! To raise as much money as possible we also have a charity auction with a number of amazing lots, perhaps the most exciting being Giles' coat from the episode 'The Gift'! We will also have a few stalls selling Bronzer related merchandise and, representing Equality Now, fireflystore.net

As with previous years VIPs have been invited, however, please be aware that we cannot guarantee attendance, they are not contracted to turn up - although we have had a very positive response so far!

The party will finish at midnight. We have arranged transport to and from the venue from the Renaissance Hotel - where we have acquired a special rate if you call and tell them you're with the Bronzers Reunion.

There will also be a Pre-Party held the night before, Friday 15th of February, at L'Scorpion on Hollywood Blvd. As many of you may know, it's owned by an ex-Buffy cast member! Entertainment will be provided, and it will be a great chance to meet up with your fellow attendees! We will also be holding a raffle with two winning prizes - access to the VIP room at the BRP!!! Please also be aware that the Pre-Party is for over 18s only as it is a night club - the BRP itself is open to all ages as long as under 18s are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We know not everybody can make the pre-party so we have two ticket prices:
$85 for just the BRP & $120 for both the Pre-Party & the BRP (only 250 of these are available).

Crossing Lost: Second Season - A New Beginning

Crossing Lost (crossing_lostrp) is a multi-fandom role-playing game set against the backdrop of the LOST island.

Multi-fandom simply means that characters from any and all walks of life and media mediums - books, television, anime, comics, movies - of established canons live and interact on this deserted, "unmapped" tropical island while dealing with the myriad of strange and unusual things, from time-travel to mystical appearances (and disappearances) that take place on the island.

Background: Forget what you think you know. Forget everything that came before. It's time to jump in and simply play. If you have a character, then we have a place for you. Don't worry about the timelines or any backstory, it's the future that matters.

Your character will awaken to find him/herself stranded on a desert island, with no memory of whom they are or how they got there. Eventually, memories will return but there will always be that lingering blank spot that explains where you came from . . .

Hey everybody! Mods, please delete this if it isn't relevant.

I just wanted to pimp a new community that myself and my dear friend Rach have started. It's called RP Secrets, and as you may have realized, it was inspired by that excellent online art project Postsecret, which if you haven't checked out yet, I'd highly reccomend it.

But back to the pimping! RPsecrets is a place where us roleplay nerds can take the game a step further, and create secrets in the form of artwork for our characters, OC or canon, any fandom under the sun is welcome, be it Buffy, CSI or Harry Potter, Firefly or Lost or anything!

So yes! Come check us out. We're just starting out, so there may still be a few kinks, but we're really looking forward to getting this place up and running! Everyone is welcome!

Crossing Lost, a multifandom RPG is in need of a Tara Maclay and River Tam. (Applications are also open to any other fandome characters a player wishes to bring along.)

What should be a beautiful piece of tropical paradise is not only home to the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815, but also to a number of other individuals whom were somehow drawn to and trapped on the island. This mysterious island, from which there is apparently no escape, pulls all manner of people from space, time and perhaps even alternate worlds. As ecletic and different as these people are, they must learn to survive together on an island that defies the laws of physics and nature, where those who wish them harm are just an arm's reach away, where nothing is exactly as it seems.

This is the story of Crossing Lost, a LiveJournal hosted RP, originally based and loosely founded on the story of ABC's "LOST."
