We were at that special age where we still felt alright playing with toys but also were begining to get interested in sex and the like so it was creeping into the games.

You see I didn't have enough dinosaur figures for us to create the proper families so some of my other action figures got drafted as Dinosaurs. Storm got paired with a screeching Velociraptor toy that screamed every time you made him do a pelvic thrust.

Needless to say when my friend had them going through the motions it was quiet noisy.

Now I know from other stories on the net that I'm not the only person who has weird stories.
Okay I just watched the Little Mermaid prequal Direct to DVD film.

I have to admit when I heard the plot I wasn't expecting much from the film. I mean music being banned in Atlantica just didn't sound like that good of a premise and given Disney's horrible track record with Direct to DVD sequals to thier franchises I wasn't expecting it to be very good.

It's a pretty good movie. It's not as good as the first Little Mermaid film but it IMO is actually better than the other Direct to DVD Mermaid film they did. This one more closely captured the spirit of the first film.

Also I have to admit I am in complete lust with a back ground character who doesn't have any lines and only shows up in two scenes.

I have to admit it was rather amusing to be absolutely blindsided by noticing how hot a back ground character was.

Blockbuster sent me Three Gay movies.

Now normally there'd be ntohign wierd about that except these three movies were no where near each other in the que. Oen was at 2 the other at 9 and one somewhere lower. I try not to have all three movies that come be of the same theme as I prefer a bit of variety

Below are my thoughts on them.

The first was this collection of gay themed short films. It was complete and utter drek. I normally don't expect much from short films but these were all terrible and not very memorable at all. So not going to say anything more about that.

The next one was a comedy on the idea that conservative small town comes to believe the gay folks in their town are caused by something in the water. Not surprisingly it's called It's in the water. It's not a bad film and there are definitely some entertaining parts however the problem is the film is way too predictable from the woman in a love less marriage who finally comes out as a lesbian and ends up with her divorced best friend. to the leader of the ex gay group who gets exposed as attending a leather and drag bar. To the young newspaper man's son who was trying not to be gay but then meets a well adjusted gay man and falls in love. The only truly memorable part is when two old women are in the beuty parlor remarking on something being in the water the large woman doing the manicures looks right at them and says "You two will believe anything won't you?" Again not a bad movie just predictable and not really something you could ever watch more than once.

Now the third movie Shelter was an excellent movie. I don't mean excellent for a gay movie as most films aimed a minority market tend to be lower quality this is one of the best movies of any type I've seen in the last year. I highly reccomend it. I won't want to spoil anything in case any of you decide to see it. But it's very well done and very very good.

I suggest you all rent it or heck even outright buy it it's that good.
