About the Platform

This platform aims to be a comprehensive, reliable, and easily accessible digital resource dedicated to documenting all forms of assaults against Palestinian journalists and Palestinian and non-Palestinian media institutions operating in Palestine. These assaults are viewed as an extension of Israel's ongoing policies of annihilation, which target both voice and image alongside the direct physical targeting of media workers. The project's significance stems from the fact that this pattern of targeting constitutes an unprecedented case in the history of warfare, given its brutality and continuity. This necessitates systematic documentation and in-depth analysis of this violence's dimensions and implications. Read more

The case of Shireen Abu Akleh

“ In difficult moments, I overcame fear. I chose journalism so that I could be closer to people. It is not easy, perhaps, to change reality, but at the very least, I was able to carry that voice to the world.” - Shireen Abu Akleh
