How did you meet?: we both play club volleyball for our colleges, and we met at nationals last April. our rooms were across the hall from theirs at the hotel, and the first night we got there one of his teammates wandered into our room drinking beer out of a coffee pot; after that their whole team was in the room and we all hung out together for the rest of the week
How long have you been together (known each other)?: little over a year
What is your relationship with them?: girlfriend
What about your soldier makes your heart go pitter patter? (if you are together): the way he picks up on the little stuff and remembers it
Is your soldier currently deployed?(Just a yes or no): no
Is there anything you would like to share about your experience, things you've learned, or any questions you have?: a lot of my friends aren't very supportive/understanding, and that's almost worse than him being gone at BCT. I'm pretty new at this, but it's really helping to read your entries, especially the ones about them coming home :)

the week before he left for basic we went to all the museums in Chicago, and one of them has this crazy photobooth that makes photocubes. obviously we had to hit that up, haha. and since it was a science museum, it has Einstein on the cube!
