MISCHIEF MANAGED - AN ORIGINAL CHARACTER HP GAME
REGISTRATION | PBs | ROLEPLAY GUIDELINES | MEMBERS | GAME

Mischief Managed is a brand new, original character, contemporary Harry Potter RPG currently seeking talented writers. We are a unique community of original characters that still respect the canon laws of the Harry Potter universe. We value in-depth character development and mature writers (Mary-Sues and self-inserts will not be considered.) This is an HP board for dedicated writers and storytellers that enjoy collaborating with their fellow 'students' to create their own history.

We welcome people to apply for professors, as Mischief Managed is one of the few boards that holds active classes in any and all Hogwarts subjects, but we are also looking for students of all houses and ages (especially Slytherins!) The Ministry of Magic, determined to prevent the rise of yet another 'Dark Lord', has gone to extremes to try to get control of the more 'dangerous' segments of the population by implementing a strict Registry and tracking-device program.

There are many Death Eaters and their supporters still at large who have avoided the Registry process altogether and are just waiting for someone to lead them. Fenrir Greyback, too, is still quite at liberty and has his own brand of fear-wielding power.

Hogwarts School, Headed by Minerva McGonagall, reopened after reconstruction and the Headmistress has enacted sweeping changes to the Sorting System. Minerva McGonagall has planted herself firmly against the Ministry's institutionalised prejudice.

The 'average Joe' just wants to be left alone, to rebuild their lives, work at their jobs, raise their families and not live in constant fear anymore!

Tired of the chaos, Arthur Weasley and Lucius Malfoy have both begun to pursue the path toward Minister for Magic. The season leading up to the summer elections promises to be very interesting.

With so much Ministry, Political, Death Eater and Werewolf plots in which to play, there is always room for more characters to join the fun!

Diffindo Elite is a Harry Potter hybrid sorting community. This means that unlike other Harry Potter sorting communities, there are six houses, all mixtures of the four in canon: Gryffinpuff, Ravendor, Ravenpuff, Slytherclaw, Slytherdor, and Slytherpuff.

These changes are being observed with a critical eye - the Headmistress is already proving almost as eccentric as her predecessor, hiring known Registrants and Werewolves to teach children! Minerva McGonagall has planted herself firmly against the Ministry's institutionalised prejudice.

The 'average Joe' just wants to be left alone, to rebuild their lives, work at their jobs, raise their families and not live in constant fear anymore! Lucius Malfoy has published a very moving book of his 'Memoirs' regarding his years as a Ministry Spy, and how deeply grieved he is over the things he was forced to see and do in this very difficult and dangerous role. He is slowly stirring the political cauldron with unknown motivations.

There are Death Eaters who were not 'caught', waiting and searching for someone to lead them. Fenrir Greyback makes random appearances of terror-inspiration, yet has continued to evade capture.
