Intro Post

Hello! My name is Krystal, and I live in Portland, Oregon. I'm due September 19th with my first baby. My boyfriend and I are super excited and couldn't be happier about this unexpected, but wonderful event. I've been a nanny for the past 5 years, so I'm not afraid of having a child at all, but this whole pregnancy thing is new to me and I find myself going "wtf?!" on almost a daily basis because of it. Haha! It's been a great adventure so far though. I didn't have any morning sickness until almost the 8th week, and now in my 13th week it's mostly gone away. I hardly ever post to my private journal anymore, but I'm looking forward to being a part of a (hopefully) active community with other Mommies due in September.

My Intro

Been lurking for a bit. I found out I was pregnant really early, so was wary becoming active but I am almost 8 weeks now (tomorrow) so thought I would go ahead & post now.

Name: Leslie. My boyfriend's name is Robert.
Due Date: September 17, 2011, pending any changes my doctor might make to that. I always seem to get three due dates. :P
Is this your first baby? No. This is my 4th child & my boyfriend's 2nd.
If not, how many other children do you have? How old are they? Boys or girls? I have two children from a previous marriage. Ian is 11. Avery is 4. Then my boyfriend & I had a son in March 2009, but he was born prematurely & died 11 hours after birth. This will be our second child together.
Any other thoughts or questions you have to start off? Nothing too pressing. Just glad to be here & hope to make some friends. It'd be great to meet people who might be going through the same thing & having a pregnancy after a loss.

We're growing, along with our bellies, so I thought I'd post a list of members and due dates from what we have so far. Please post in the comments if you want to add anything. At some point, I'll put a completed table in the info, and we can add stuff as we go along like whether we're having a boy or girl, actual birthday, and anything else we might want to put.

Also, I added a few more interests to hopefully make the community easier to find. If you want to suggest more for the list, feel free, such as how YOU tried to find us!

Ok, the information I have so far:

I am so excited that I finally found this community!
I found out that I was pregnant 2 weeks ago and I did the calculations and the baby will be due on September 8th! Making me 8 weeks today!

Quick Intro:
Name: Michelle
Due Date: September 8th, 2011
Other kids:
Elizabeth, 1 soon to be 2, born 02/20/2009, girl

This will be mine and my husbands second child, we are so happy and excited. I go on the 5th of February for the first doctor visit. Which I was told that I will be having a vaginal ultrasound. This will be my first time having an ultrasound that way. I'm a little nervous for having one.

I hope soon more ladies will found out that they're pregnant so we can have a busy community. :)

I see we have a few members now, but it's awfully quiet. Maybe because it's still early? I'd love it if people would introduce themselves, so we can get a sense of who we are and why we're here.

I'm seven weeks now and am starting to get some morning sickness, finally. Well, technically it's mid-afternoon sickness - I generally feel worst around lunchtime! I was actually a little worried, because I'm sure morning sickness started earlier with my first two, so in some ways, I'm relieved when the nausea hits. Not that I actually enjoy it.

I have my first prenatal visit next Thursday. Maybe there will be more going on by then around here. :)

It looks like a couple people have joined here, so I thought I'd make a post to say "Yes, this community is alive!" I went to the GYN this morning, not for a prenatal visit, but he went ahead and did an ultrasound anyway just to see how everything looked. I'm six weeks today, and we could see the heartbeat! It was pretty cool. I didn't know you could see the heartbeat this early.

Anyway, feel free to post an intro, and hopefully we'll see membership pick up as the month goes forward and more people find out they're due in September!

Intro Intro Post

Hi everyone! I'm Jessica. I'm 5 weeks and 1 day pregnant with my third child (not to jump the gun with excitement or anything). With my first, I was very involved in the October 2006 babies due date community, and I loved the idea of being able to talk with other women going through the same stages of pregnancy and child-rearing that I was. So, now that I'm pregnant with my third, I thought it might be nice to start my own due-date community to offer that same service to other women with September 2011 babies!

Quick Intro:
Name: Jessica
Due Date: September 7, 2011
Other kids:
Niv, 4, born 10/22/06, boy
Shai, 2, born 12/17/08, boy

I hope that everyone will find this to be a supportive place to find or give answers to whatever crazy or not-so-crazy questions anyone has about pregnancy, childbirth, and raising kids.
