Yes, yes, I know. You're all probably weirded out that I'm posting anything at all, but I've had one or two people ask me what I'd like for my birthday, and some plans for what to do that evening.
Honestly, this is what I'm thinking: Dinner at Minskey's at around 4:30, 5:00, and then afterwards to Pulp Fiction at around 6PM for the weekly game night. I think it'd be fun to have a large group playing something like Carcassone, Catan, Last Night on Earth, or Talisman.

About half way to 18 now, hopefully I can hit 20 sometime in the coming week. Almost have a full set party for FFXI as well, which will be nice, since I won't have to worry about finding five other people and wondering if they're competent...no, I'll just have 5 other people who I think are competent. With me tanking, though, everything should be niftykeen. But, that's a story for another day.
Went back in to work today to try to make the final touches on the server. Everything's up and running, and all of our In House code works...however, the finantials system doesn't, and we're apparently missing a DBC file (a container file that has the names of database tables) that is important to the thing. I think we should call Sourcemate support, but the gal who's in charge of Financials doesn't want to. I think she just wants to try to make me look bad because I couldn't recover everything (I had everything save for one file, not bad for three day's work). This is also the woman who's been trying to get me fired for as long as I've been there, though. Ah well, I'm just going to find another job elsewhere, because they don't pay me enough to worry about this. Hell, I didn't even get Overtime pay for this weekend...AND I have to go in Monday for a short time so I can try to help. I'm demanding Tuesday off, though. I don't care if there's smoke coming out of the machines, I worked my ass off this weekend, and I want some time to myself. |

Well, after a few days of trying to fix my computer, I've finally got it up and running.
We also won Chorus competition, and I'll post more about that later. |
