    So I have some Viking Thor Series Small Motorcycle Saddlebags For Harley Dyna Fat Bob. The locking cylinder on one bag got worn out And i needed a replacement. No luck getting help from the maker. I found these and very happy. One less key to carry and worry about losing. These are working great. ***for my application, the locking shank was a bit long for the bags so I have to shave off about an inch. just used a dremel tool do cut and smooth the edge.***

    Fairly easy install. I did have to fiddle around a bit to get it in the right orientation but thats the same for most locking cylinders. easy to set your combo too. Its a tad easier to set the combo before install the lock. instructions are short and sweet. Easy to grip and turn even with my gloves on

    Threads are too short. So even though it is the correct length for the application and matches the original keyed item, the short threads don’t allow installation of the original washer on the backside. This leaves a loose fit and the lock wobbles.

    Also when I changed the combination, I could not get the pin to return all the way so I was unable to turn the combination numbers anymore.

    Took them back out and returned them.

    Not easy to program or install. Does not have clear instructions. Waste of time. Will not be using these, since it's impossible to program

    Easy to install and provides security for my side boxes. As what? 90%? of RV compartments use the same lock and key, this change is mandatory. I had no idea that just about anyone who ever owned a camper could get into and steal my hoses, cables, chairs, ect out of my RV storage boxes.
