It comes with clear user manual and tutorial videos, pretty easy to install it and get it work. The optical quality is nice along with a handy phone adapter. The 70mm aperture is big enough for moon watch as been advertised and can handle scenic watching outdoor as well. My family love its low profile design, had fun with kids after we set it up together, good gift.

First Update:

My kids love it and we took sometime to figure out how to get the best photos, would love to share some good tricks:

1. Keep the tripod at a lower height so it will be more stable;

2. Always use the time-lapse feature on your phone for either 3 or 10 seconds, in this way the telescope and the phone will remain stable and the moon photo will be sharp and amazing.

3. Be gentle on pressue the shutter, for less shake

4. Use iPhone camera's zoom in feature for larger details on the moon, definately better result that those barlow eyepieces (pay attention to camera change when zoom in, might need to adjust the camera hole on the phone adapter).

Very nice spotting scope for the money and highly recommend. Very well built and feels sturdy. The clarity is very good and the fine focus adjustment allows for a very crisp image. Comes with a nice carrying case and a solid tripod. I've used it at the range and can easily see hits at 200 yards which is the max distance I've used it. I used the included phone adapter to make the attached video. The large steel target was roughly 2'X2' in size shot at 200 yards out with the spotting scope at max zoom. Perfect for days out at the range.

Overall build quality of the product is sturdy, with the aluminum tripod legs that are usually found in much higher-end professional cameras adding a level of stability and comfort. The final product took a little time to assemble and mount onto the tripod, but with help of the brief and concise instruction video, the overall process is much smoother.

Most importantly, the image quality is stunning. The images are crisp and clear, due to the large lenses and high-quality coatings. Image distortions are barely noticeable, making night time sky watching an incredible experience. Overall, an enjoyable product with very affordable price.

I bought this scope for my wife who's a birdwatcher. It has one major flaw. It will focus fine in the lower part of the zoom range, but the images are increasingly blurry as you increase the magnification. I had selected this scope based on the good reviews. Rather than experiment with other low cost spotting scopes I ordered a more expensive alternative. The difference was like night and day. The images are sharply focused over the entire zoom range, it weighs less, and is easier to use. I returned this one and would not recommend it for anyone.

Update 14 Jan 2021 - After returning the scope, I was contacted by the company who sells it because of my bad review. After several emails back and forth, I agreed that I would try it again. They sent me a new scope and I had no difficulty focusing over the entire zoom range. I have changed my review to five stars because I can't really find any fault with this scope. It works was well as the scope I bought for twice as much. This scope is heavier, but even that has it's advantages. The heavier scope is not as unbalanced when you attach a cell phone to take pictures. This scope comes with the adapter for the cell phone, whereas the more expensive scope did not. I also find the tripod to be quite stable. In summary, I have no complaints. This is a very good package for a very good price. I highly recommend this scope. If you should happen to have a problem as I did, their customer service will take care of it.

We purchased this spotting scope to view a family of owls who nested out in our woods in our backyard. This was money well spent! The price was very reasonable and the scope is very nice quality! It sits nice and still on our counter top and allows our 4 and 6 year old children an easy way to study and learn about nature...and it's really fun for us adults too! Can't wait to use it for other things that cross into our backyard! We are very happy with this purchase. Also, the cell phone holder adapter is really awesome and helps the kids see without having to put their eye up to the scope. Really a neat feature!

Awesome telescope for its price. Small and portable — with a carry-on/portable backpack — I’m able to bring this with me anywhere I go. Assembly of the telescope is easy, comes with a clear instructions manual, and is great for star gazing. Very good quality, and even comes with a phone adapter (which works with both of the lenses included) that lets you take pictures of the stars through the telescope. Overall very satisfied.

Das Teleskop kam schneller als erwartet an. Sauber ordentlich verpackt mit reichlich Zubehör(Rucksack ,verschiedene Linsen und einer Halterung für Handys).

Montage ist leicht und sehr gut beschrieben. Wir konten es leider erst jetzt testen da das Wetter uns immer einen Strich durch die Planung gemacht hat. Man kann super den Mond beobachten und wenn man sich einmal mit der Einstellung zurecht gefunden hat dann kann man auch andere Planeten sehen(nicht ganz deutlich aber man sieht sie).

Leider funktioniert mit unseren Handys das Fotografieren mit der Halterung nicht( vlt bin ich auch zu...... dazu) aberdie Idee ist super.

Für interessierte Kids ist dieses Teleskop aber auf jeden Fall ein gutes Anfangsmodell.

Das Teleskop macht einen wertigen und stabilen Eindruck.Super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und für Anfänger gut geeignet.

Unsere Tochter hat das Teleskop zum 10. Geburtstag bekommen und sich sehr gefreut. Zusammen mit einem Erwachsenen kann man sich gut in die Materie reinfinden und für Einsteiger gut geeignet. Ich finde den Rucksack dazu sehr toll, so ist das Gerät im gut verstaut.

Gut für Anfänger/Kinder geeignet. Funktioniert einwandfrei. Lieferung erfolgte prompt.
