Great beginner set
I was seeking a mid tier soft pastel to see if I liked them or not. I didn’t want to purchase the $10 brands, but also didn’t want to break the bank of higher grade options until I knew I loved the medium. This was a good balance. Only con is that I wish the has more neutrals and darker values. Almost immediately I needed to go purchase singles at the art store to allow me to create more realistic landscapes because this is too vibrant. Shape and size is perfect and feels like my Sennier half sticks.

Great beginner set
Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2025I was seeking a mid tier soft pastel to see if I liked them or not. I didn’t want to purchase the $10 brands, but also didn’t want to break the bank of higher grade options until I knew I loved the medium. This was a good balance.
Only con is that I wish the has more neutrals and darker values. Almost immediately I needed to go purchase singles at the art store to allow me to create more realistic landscapes because this is too vibrant.
Shape and size is perfect and feels like my Sennier half sticks.
