It’s only been 3 weeks and the change in my hair and skin is already noticeable. I love it! I never realized just how hard, “hard” water could be on your health. We took care of the drinking & cooking water, but it wasn’t until recently that I realized the shower water mineral buildup was the cause of our skin and hair issues and a shower filter was needed. You guessed it, the perfect excuse to upgrade to a rain shower head at the same time.

NearMoon was one of four choices that quickly became our first choice because of the filter combo deals, reviews, and the exceptional value for a mid-range super thin rain shower head that was not cheap, plastic, or tin can-ish. It also had the finish and size needed. Straight out of the box, I knew we made the right decision. The shower head was definitely stylish and ultra thin (I mean like paper thin!), and solid & sturdy with some weight to it. Totally impressed!

Other stuff I liked:

- Color matched perfectly to the 16” Sparkpod extension arm (perfect for tall heights)

- 15 Stage filter is rather hefty and but efficient in filtering minerals & chlorine found in hard water. Remember to run for ~10 min to activate.

- Filter is NSF certified

- Installation is a breeze. All parts have corresponding male/female threads so they connect together easily (like a Lego set, only the pieces screw in). Instructions are included.

- Showerhead & filter installation are compatible with your existing wall mounted or ceiling mounted plumbing and water pressure

- No plumber is required. A specialized tightening wrench and plumbers tape is included.

- Well made quality built. Both showerhead and filter are heavy duty solid stainless steel & rust resistant.

- I have better water pressure & volume with the rain showerhead (I don’t understand it, but I do).

- The square head of 100 silicone nozzles in 10x10 formation gives me consistent and full water flow coverage. I no longer have to dance the hula to get full coverage!

- The silicone nozzles are easy to clean and self-cleaning

- Filter is easy to replace. Simply unscrew and swap in a new filter.

- Filter capacity is 10,000 gallons, needing to be replaced every 4-6 months. Replacement filters are currently $22.99 – 29.99 per/year (4-pack) depending on your usage.

- You can upgrade or replace components to your preference.

Ehhh:

- Filter is not the smallest (approx. ~ 6”) or the most stylish, but it’s functional and does a great job!

- The whistle. This doesn’t happen every time the shower is started, but once in awhile it will briefly whistle when water is first turned on.

Overall, what’s not to like? There is a lot of bang for the buck with this product. It’s the same impeccable quality often found in high-end hotels and brands. It’s stylish, looks great, and is well made. I suspect it will last my lifetime. Think of it as a budget friendly upgrade as well as an investment in to your health. 5 Stars! Worth every penny!

I installed this yesterday took 5 minutes, easy to install, let it run for 10 minutes to get the filter to activate.

PRIOR TO installing this our shower was so hard that it would leave my old shower head white & it was hard to clean. Obviously I just got this so it’s still new, I’ll have to review it after 3 months, but so far I love it, water pressure is actually more than I had before. It might drain the hot water faster because it’s a Bigger shower head but wasn’t an issue for me.

My hair used to be brittle and dry and my skin dry, after my first shower I can already tell I feel cleaner& my hair is soft again!

If you live in florida like me, then this would be a good thing to get, reminder that this is an affordable version. People who are leaving bad reviews think they’re paying for a 200$ one, this is affordable, it works, it’s pretty & does the job it’s intended for.

********UPDATE NOV 2021***********

I still have it and it’s still amazing, I did not get any hard water residue on my shower head like I used to on my old one, I do have to change the filter however it’s still amazing, still feels amazing and honestly I am getting another one for our guest bathroom now! So if you see this update, safe to say I still love it.

This product is excellent, it is really a good stainless steel material and very easy to install, my skin has had a great change and also my girls' hair since it feels the finer and purest water if I dare to recommend it to my friends I am very happy with this product I would buy it again and again

Has very good water pressure, feels like rain. Makes the water feel super clean when you put a brand new filter in.

This is great but wow it puts out SO much water. I guess I should have thought about that. But 2-3x more than our original shower head.

it was a very easy install. used it in my dorm for a year and it’s been really good so far. it’s pretty strong for the price and i haven’t had any issues with it. You’re probably going to need more plumbers tape than they give you.

I have well water and felt like my hair was really struggling. East to install and looks great. Water pressure is perfect. I’ve seen a slight difference so far and am hoping to see even more of a difference.

Normal water was too harsh for my Girlfriend...so she only washed when she needed to. Now She washes all the time 😉

I was well over due for a new showerhead but this has changed my life! Super easy to install. Water is softer, which is good for my hair, and the pressure is perfect! I am very impressed! Recommend!

Grabbed this not knowing what an Amazon type product would bring to the table. Didn’t set my expectations too high but very happy with the purchase. The moment I stepped into the shower I could feel a “wall of water” hit my back. I knew at that moment, I made the right decision. I can’t vouch for the longevitity but happy with initial purchase.
