I never thought I’d see the day I would actually be excited to see a box of filters arrive in the mail. Seriously, the water here is so bad that a calendar is not needed for when it’s time to change out the filter. I am so glad I bought a new shower head or else I wouldn’t never have have known of filter systems/canisters that exist to attach to a shower head. I took care of the drinking/cooking water but never thought shower water as the root to my problems. Having a filter is definitely a game changer! These are always in stock and can be purchased directly from the same company as your shower head, so you’ll have no compatibility issues to deal with. It ships, it fits, and is super easy to install! The box contains four filters, each individually wrapped. The filters should be replaced every 3-4 months depending on usage & contamination level. For us, it’s been every 3 months for the main bath and every 6-7 months for the guest/dog bath. Any longer duration and mineral buildup will cause more hair and skin damage. At five dollars per filter (minus tax) this is a great price to pay for the health benefits of saving your hair and skin from the harsh effects of hard water. Your shower water is always clean, fresh, free of sediment, chemical, and odor free. I do love my shower head, so by extension I love my filter. Overall, I’m happy with the performance of the filters. 5 Stars! Worth every penny!

I’m so glad I got this because I’m soooo surprised and grossed out at what this thing has filtered from my shower water!!! You can see microplastics and stuffs in the filter, it’s pretty crazy!! It clearly functions great, I like that it’s easy to install and switch out. I notice a change in water when I added the filter I could almost smell and feel the chlorine or whatever chemicals are in the water it would make my eyes burn and my body skin so dry, once I added the filter I noticed a change in that feeling. I’m glad I’ve added the filter and after seeing what it’s collected I’m going to continue using this!!!

The apartment building I live in suffers from severe hard water. Washing dishes is a nightmare, with soap film residue. But now at least I can rinse off in seconds in the shower. This cartridge, in its shower head, is amazing. Cuts my shower time in half, from not trying to get un-soapy.

Great product!! You can instantly feel the difference in the water. The smoothness in the skin and not needing to apply moisturizer afterwards. However not even 3 months later, the effectiveness wears off and you begin to feel the hard water returning again. I have my own shower so I expected it to last longer. It’ll get expensive in the long term buying so many filters in a year. Not six months as advertised. This is my reason for the 3 star.
