Currently working through this devotional but I have nothing but good things to say about it. Love the devotion itself and the scriptures that go with it. Really like that I can write out scriptures and write out my prayers.

When I find a Bible Study that I love, I revisit it over and over again. My first copy is on it’s third use in 18 months and I’m running out of room to right my own notes and prayers. This book is strictly for Christian women who want to get real with their Heavenly Father and pour their hearts out to Him. Kaylene has pulled together a simple but powerful tool to help you focus specifically on your journey as a praying wife. She encourages with sensitivity and candor using her own struggles while at the same time giving you hope that the Jesus who loved you enough to die for you will also be the one to empower you and work through you.

My friend and I started reading this for our husbands (the accountability is really nice to have). No joke, I saw a difference in my husband and our marriage (and myself) after day 3!! I'm on day 16 now and, although the last couple of weeks haven't been conflict free, we've made forward progress in our marriage and in communicating. And he has no idea I'm reading and praying this for him, so all the credit goes to God!

I really like how Kaylene writes. Her short write-ups before the prayers in this book are so full of wisdom. And the actual prayers are heartfelt. I thought it might be weird to read a prayer instead of saying my own, but Kaylene writes the prayers in a way where you can pray them over your husband (I insert his name in the actual prayer), and with fervor! I've also been praying them for myself :)

Kaylene offers a sort of fasting plan at the end of each chapter. I really like that she offers that and then we adjust as need be. I like to read the next chapter the night before and then fast what she suggests the next day. I also really like how much she incorporates Scripture throughout the book. I highly recommend this book.

I received a sample of the book from the author and loved it so much I ordered the book. It encourages you to pray for your spouse without ceasing and provides space for you to write verses she refers to with each section as well as an area to write your own thoughts, prayers and concerns. Every day when I do my devotion, I just want to go on to the next day's topic. Many times, I feel as though the words I am reading are the thoughts of my mind and heartaches of my heart. I am very thankful for this book and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is feeling drained and hopeless.

I really enjoy this book. Great to write down your feelings and what you would like to change to grow with God and to be a better wife. This book really helped me be more patient and appreciative of my husband.

I loved reading and praying through this book. I will probably go back and use it over and over again, maybe without fasting all year round, but there is so much wisdom and guided prayer deeply rooted in scripture. My only issue is a few editorial mistakes, like some passages the reference is off by a chapter, but otherwise it's a very practical helpful book. (Posting as my husband because we share one account).

This Fasting and Prayer journal was truly such a blessing to me. I just finished it and I plan on starting it again right away.
