This is the perfect tool to get those mermaid waves. More relaxed than our wavers of the early 2000s. Great heat settings. This company has a new version that is way more expensive and a different style and I'm so glad I found this to purchase instead at a better price. My hair is generally pretty smooth and this just enhances the smoothness, no frizz.

If you want loose waves then this is the curler for you. I’ve tried smaller 3 barrel curlers before to try and get the “beach wave” look and I felt like I was left with 80’s crimped hair. I loosened the waves up with a styling oil. If you want a more “mermaid” look this curler will achieve that too, just don’t loosen em up!

A couple downsides:

-This curler is large and awkward. Definitely took me a couple tries to get my groove going with this thing.

-When you press the “off” button and it’s still plugged in, it doesn’t turn totally off. The little screen stays on, lit up saying “off” until you totally unplug it. That’s just weird to me.

-The buttons are very easy to push while using this thing. There doesn’t seem to be a way to set it on a temp. then lock it so if/when you accidentally press a button you don’t turn the temp up or down. Maybe there is a way to do this but I just haven’t figured it out!

Being able to wave my hair in minutes and not have to stand there with a curling iron beats out all those downsides though. Less time the better!

1.25 is the perfect size for big waves! Only a design flaw.... it's easy to accidentally push the buttons while using.

This tool is very durable. It doesn’t feel cheap & I love that it’s pink. I love the way my hair turned out HOWEVERRRRR I wish it was just a tad bigger. It seemed like it took forever to do my whole head. The “curls” seemed to fall out the next day too which is rare for my hair type (my curls normally last until my next hair wash). I like this product but honestly could’ve found something better for the price.

I NEVER style my hair. The most I’ve ever done is dye and cut it. And I mean that. I never bothered to learn and lately I’ve wanted to change that. I thought this would be a safe first step. I read tons of reviews and looked at everyone’s photos so a big thank you to people who also take the time to also write reviews. I appreciate you immensely!

This is VERY easy to use, it’s just bulky. I have fine hair with little to no volume, so splitting my hair into section, and then using this made a massive difference. I actually enjoyed the way it looked a lot, I can’t get the back of my head well but I try. If you follow directions correctly it doesn’t frizz. I got the 1.5 black one because I couldn’t live with having something pink. But if they made the 3 bar (I can’t remember what everyone calls it) jumbo size in black I would buy it too. This wasn’t expensive either, so I felt better about the purchase to begin with. And, like stated before, it’s so easy and simple to use that I quickly loved it. My hair didn’t feel dead after either, still soft.

This tool is designed poorly. It’s impossible curling your hair without turning off the curler because of its design. I wish the on and off switch was placed farther away from the clamp. I’d skip this tool and buy an iron from a different brand.

I have been wanting a hair waver forever, so I finally pulled the trigger and ordered this one.... I wasn't disappointed it did a great job on my fine hair and it lasted all day long without alot of product or hairspray. This will be great for summer and beach trips. Makes your hair look so soft and wavy. This waver is great for short to medium length hair, probably would get a triple waver if i had longer then shoulder length hair.
