What all can I say about this amazing little machine? It is so quiet I had to double check that it was working. In 5 hours it went from a tub of food waste to actual compost!! This might be a little weird, but the end result smells good! I put my used coffee grounds in each evening along with any vegetable trimmings from dinner, and press the button. I wake up to fresh usable compost! I am keeping it in an ice cream tub with a lid and mixing a few tablespoons in with potting soil and replanting my house plants. The sleek design is not an eye sore in my kitchen. The double carbon filters absorb any and all odors, the lid closes nicely and locks it all in until I’m ready to start the cycle. I couldn’t be more pleased and I can’t wait to see my plants doing better!!

    The composting works great until 4 montgs in and the blades stopped spinning. The screw holding the blades is stripped and I need a replacement but have had no way to get the parts. They're is not any direct line to customer service and Amazon wont help because its past the return window. Be cautious when purchasing. If you have the contact info for this company please let me know. Or if your are this company or Amazon and can help me please do and I will revise the 1 star rating

    This has been a super handy item to add into our kitchen! We leave it unplugged in one of the cabinets and add to it throughout the week. We put it on the counter when we want to run it. Throughout the week there is no smell. When it’s running, it’s definitely pretty smelly. Especially during the summer I wouldn’t want this running in my kitchen during a cycle. It needs to be outside. Especially because a cycle takes up to 6 hours.

    Favorite product I've bought this year. A friend bought the same model 3-4 mos. before & recommended it. The first thing I composted was 18 lbs. frozen egg yolks. (No food banks or animal shelters would take them.) Cooked egg yolks compost easily into fine dirt when mixed with veg./fruit scraps, egg shells and leaves. This machine is high quality, powerful & easy to clean. The only things you can't compost in it are bones, avocado seeds, fruit pits, dessert items & bread. If the compost comes out a little wet, I just put it through another cycle.

    My wife and I bought this in late October. It has been pretty amazing. It has worked without issue up until last week when the motor that drives the interior mixer stopped working. We have been very careful to compost egg shells, coffee grounds, vegetables in general - nothing that would otherwise cause a problem for the machine (according to the manual).

    I’ve reached out to the Support email for help but still no response.

    When it works, it works amazingly! But to spend this much money on something that breaks in three months is problematic. It all comes down to how the Support team responds.

    Update: Well, the support team knocked it out of the park. Zero hassle replacement and rapid response!

    We’re so relieved because we absolutely love this thing.

    Note on usage: we’ve found that leaving some of the processed material in the canister when we add new food helps in absorbing excess moisture that some vegetation contains!

    Final update on this product, 1.5 years in:

    Lowering the overall rating to a 3/5 stars. It’s broken again. This particular device jams pretty regularly. The gears that turn the churning wheel inside the canister have worn to the point now where anything in the canister causes the machine to stop grinding.

    For the last year and a half, this machine *eliminated* our food waste. I love these things, but for this price, I would expect much less issues. It jammed at least 3 times a week, and became a real burden to keep running. The support team was phenomenal my first time to reach out, I’ll try one more time, but I’m feeling this review is final.

    The composter only last about 10 months. The motor start to wear and cannot process anything. I tried to contact their customer service. This company claims lifetime warranty. The person who does the email asked me to do trouble shooting by turning the pins. The pins were not loose and the cycle didn’t process as they suggested. When I asked if there’s videos or visual pictures to show me if I got the right pins, the communication stops. They didn’t answer any more. I don’t think they expect the machine will wear out in less than a year and they don’t plan to honor the replacement. I’d be very careful buying their products and be wary! This machine is not affordable and for the value and how long it lasted, it’s not worth it. It’s a big heavy to lift and definitely can’t fit on the counter. I will update if this review got their attention.
