I read one chapter every Saturday morning. I can’t read more or faster because it literally wrecks me to the point of sobbing before the Lord. The chapters are not long but it takes me at least an hour because the topic demands that I fully digest every word. It can’t be rushed or interrupted. I put my earbuds in with soft instrumental music and retreat to a place where I can’t be distracted or interrupted. Wrecked. I don’t know if I will ever be the same. I highly recommend.

I have really been enjoying reading this book and I already have plans to read it again and revisit it as needed. It's a good thinking book and I want to practice what it preaches for the rest of my life.

Great book to do as a daily devotional with your spouse but awesome on its own. Love answering the questions after each short chapter. Makes you really contemplate your relationship with the Lord

This book brings the reader to a foundational place of deep reverence, respect, and AWE of an Almighty God, countering the pursuit of a shallow, self centered, demanding place of relationship with a God that is considered nothing more than "sugar-daddy" God that fulfills every expectation! How I love this book and how I love the draw back to Awe inspired intimacy with a Great and Mighty God!

Diese Buch hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es ist das erste Buch, welches ich auf Englisch gelesen habe und es hat sich echt gelohnt. Ich warte auf die deutsche Übersetzung und würde es dann gerne nochmal lesen.
