The On/Off switch is one where you have to push it up or push it down, kinda like the light switches that you can dim in large rooms, and it stays in one place until adjusted again. It does NOT work like a button, it surges at one speed and you CANNOT slow it down or even speed it up like you can with a normal sewing machine's foot pedal. It's very inconvenient and even anxiety-inducing! It's also impossible to stitch edges, which is super weird. You have to start at least half an inch from an edge of a piece for it to work.

The stitching that the machine does is extremely inconsistent on soft fabrics like cotton. I couldn't get the stitching to line up correctly after hours of trying! I wasted my time, as well as a bunch of thread. I could have made better progress if I had spent that time handsewing my pieces. I tried my best to work with the machine but the lack of control you have on the device is incredibly cumbersome and it also arrived slightly cracked on the battery plate. I wanted this to work so badly, it seemed like it would help me finish my project quickly, and it was the perfect size for me to take to work with ease! It was also cute. But it ended up being a huuuge pain and I'm really disappointed. It couldn't even chain the stitches correctly, they unraveled multiple times and messed my fabric up too.

I ordered one, I received two. I assume now, because the shipper knew they were junk and hoped to avoid having to process a return.

For the price I paid, I did not expect a finely crafted unit with gold filigree decoration... But they sailed right under the low expectations that I had for it.

These things are the worst example to hold up as the products of an industrialized society since the first poorly designed boiler blew up well over a century ago. The casing does not even fit together correctly with a large open seam along the battery case.

Inserting the batteries is a task in itself as they don't even fit in the cavity that is presumably designed for them. The cap that goes on the end to provide the contacts has to be wrestled into place and does not clamp down properly because of the poorly designed / assembled casing. If you manage to get it to stay in place, it is bowed in the middle ready to pop open spilling the batteries.

And to pile insult upon injury, neither item works. At all.

I didn't realize I could post a picture. They are already packed up and ready to be sent back for a refund... Or I would take one.

The battery port was broken and the bobbin was too full and tangled. I tried to fix it so I won't have to return it but it's made of cheap plastic. The battery port, would not close so it didn't work.

I actually received an extra sewing machine from the seller, both did not work. Not to mention it was very cheaply made, flimsy to the touch. Instruction does not make a lot of sense either. I was very excited for its arrival but it took me nearly two weeks to receive the product, even though it was supposed to be a prime delivery. You can definitely find better ones for 22 bucks.

I really should have known this was not going to be good used it once and it broke. Not easy to use at all. Speed was way too fast. And could not get a regular stitch to save my life. It felt like a cheap dollar store toy it was so light I felt like it was going to break holding it and it did.

Better if the sart button is a push type instead of this continuous ON type.
