I haven't been as excited to get and then see something operate as I have to see this cool little robot do its thing. I was pretty impressed with how it navigated my 650 foot sq. apartment with a lot of obstacles. It was fun to watch it map out the space, and it did so perfectly. Then I let it do a first time vacuum and it was pretty impressive! I shed a lot of hair (lol) and it got most of it on the first run. I think my place was so, well, not the cleanest, that the first run didn't get everything but ont he second run I had it also do a mop and I don't think my place has been this clean since I moved in hahaha.

Anyways, the thing is so well designed that I feel it's a steal for $800 which was the discounted price I got since it was on sale. Even at $1050 I'd say, yes, this is definitely worth it. The engineering, the care, the almost Japanese-style efficiency and quality they've put into this is kinda mind-blowing. So I would say, yes, it's a Chinese product, but don't let that stop you from buying it. If they make good stuff, they make good stuff. Period.

But yes, it's such a 'system' that you kind of have to respect it. Mapping out your place, cleaning it from end to end, and then the app is so well designed I'm kind of amazed. You can put no go zones in it, which I did, since I don't want it to clean the area where my shoes are which I clean separately / manually by myself.

It truly is an amazing machine, with so many options, and from what I've seen it works perfectly. If I could give 6/5 stars I would!

I've only had amazing experiences with my Roborock vacuums. I’ve used a standard Qrevo weekly for nearly three years, and it is still going strong. Most importantly, it has NEVER gotten lost once in my home. I recently decided to buy the Curv for its modern quality-of-life features (notably higher suction, hot mop washing, an extendable mop, and a tangle-free brush), and the experience so far has been stellar. The set up, mapping, vacuuming and mopping performance have all been just perfect.

As an aside, I briefly tried a new model from a primary competitor right before purchasing the Curv, but I found myself returning it within a couple of days. Roborock’s navigation, reliability, and app interface are MILES ahead, even on my three-year-old robot. This other robot vacuum (a higher-end model, I might add) took about 140% of the time the Curv took to cover the same area, and therefore ran out of battery before finishing the job.

I also wasn't sure about the look of the Curv's base station at first, but it has really grown on me, especially when looking at it side-by-side with my older Qrevo. I recognize this is no longer the newest generation now that the Curv 2 and Curv X are available, but at the current discounted price of $799 CAD, given all of the flagship features it provides, this model is an absolute steal.

I have two kids, so cleaning and mopping 2 or 3 times a day used to feel never-ending. Since getting the Robo things have gotten so much easier. It works great on tile, carpet, and wooden floors. The suction is super strong it will picks up crumbs, dust, pet hair, everything. The mop doesn’t just wipe it actually scrubs, and it even reaches corners really well. I love the little brush that pops out to clean along edges and tight spots. So smart!

It can climb from floor to carpet, or even over molding or trim between tile and wood floors without any problems because it lifts itself up for that. Just make sure you don’t have cords or charging cables lying around on the floor — it doesn’t like those

It even does a good job cleaning up dirt and, yes, dog poop (I tested it!). Plus, it empties itself and washes and dries the mop pads automatically. The app lets me know when to refill or change the water, and there’s even a camera so I can check in on it anytime.

The build quality feels really solid and high-end. Honestly, this vacuum has taken a huge load off me. I just press start and go back to spending time with my kids.

If you’re thinking of getting something that works on all types of floors, this is 100% worth the money. One of the best investments I’ve made for our home

Wednesday April 19. I received it, and left it plugged in and docked overnight to get it charged up completely before really using it, while I read the instructions.

Thursday April 20, I mapped and cleaned a couple rooms on the upstairs of the house. Then mapped and cleaned a couple rooms downstairs.

Then attempted to map and clean the upstairs laundry room/bedroom.

However, when using it in the laundry room, it stopped, and I received a msg that it was stuck.

I checked it, moved it, and tried to restart.

It kept trying to move, but would only go in a partial circle, and stop.

It seems like one of the main drive wheels locks up when moving forward. When I move the wheel backwards half a turn, it frees up, and will then move properly again… until energized again.

I called support, who told me to push down on it, and roll it back and forth 7 or 8 times, to get the wheels moving. I questioned this, but he insisted that that’s what they tell people to do…?

I did this, but did not fix it.

He said he would send an email message to next level support, which he did.

I received an email that night at 2am (Thurs night), asking for more info as to purchase and registration, and also if I could send a video.

I responded with the video, and the requested info.

Friday night, (2am) I get another response asking if it does this in other locations, and if so, I would need to send it in for repair.

I responded right away saying it does it everywhere, regardless of location.

Saturday evening (8pm), I receive a message that I need to send it back for repair.

I need to

wait 3 days for a return postage email

Box, and send it, another day

Wait (maybe a week), for it to show up wherever the repair depot is.

Wait (probably another week), for someone to open it up, and confirm its all there.

Then they might send me a replacement (maybe refurbished??) until mine is fixed? Or maybe send me a new one..?

Wait another week to get the replacement.

I think this is absolutely horrible!

I have had this machine for 4 hours! Now I have had to make phone calls, 4 emails, anxiety around what’s going to happen with it? How long will it take?

I just wanted to get a great machine, to work, because I needed it this week… not 5 days from now, not 3 weeks from now…. NOW.

So, I’ve returned this unit on Amazon, and bought a brand new unit. Yes, I’m out almost $4000 (for the time being), in vacuums. (I would never have thought that I would ever say that), But I need this unit now, and I’m done waiting until you get your “processes” followed, and all your customers leave.

I’ll receive it tomorrow – THANKS AMAZON!

<< Sidenote: It took a weeks for my return to physically get to Roborock. Another week for them to actually receive it. Another week to process the return, and another week to get my money back.. 4 Weeks.>>

OK.. Got the new unit from Amazon the next day.. Perfect!

I've now been using the new CURV for a couple of weeks, and it's been working perfectly! I use it on the first and second floors of my house, with mainly hardwoods, and I have to say - it's been great!

I've hidden it behind the dog's chair, so that it comes out on it's own to run, and is still hidden (in plain sight).

So, after everything, I would say that the product is good. It's great actually. The company policies, sending defective unit back and forth, taking a month, really sucks.

I've updated my review from a 1-star to a 4-star, because the policies still suck.

One piece of information.. When you purchase thru Roborock, you might get a 1 year warrantee. When you purchase thru Amazon - only 30 days (i believe).

I really wanted to love the Roborock Qrevo Curv. I’ve been using it for several months now, and while the specs are impressive, the day-to-day experience has been pretty disappointing. For a vacuum at this price point, you expect "set it and forget it" reliability, but that hasn't been my experience.

The two main dealbreakers:

• The Mop Hardware: The spinning mop head constantly pops off during cleaning cycles. I’ll find the vacuum wandering around with one "arm" missing, which defeats the purpose of a hybrid mop/vacuum.

• "Ghost" Trapping: It frequently stops and triggers a "trapped" error in the middle of open floor space. It thinks it’s stuck when there is absolutely nothing around it.

The most frustrating part is the lack of reliability. I have this set on a schedule so I can come home to clean floors, but more often than not, I find it sitting idle in the middle of a room, halfway through a job, waiting for me to "rescue" it.

If you’re buying this for true automation, be prepared to baby it. It’s a great piece of tech when it works, but it just lets us down too often to recommend at this price.

I'm still in the learning curve but I'm loving it!!! I can sit on my balcony and have my tea in the morning while my apartment is getting vacuumed and mopped. It does a great job which I especially notice because I have two cats. It has no problem vacuuming up trailed kitty litter and cat hair.

I have a 3 year old robot vacuum and the Roborock Curv is so much better. The dual mopping pads where one extends out to handle corners and up against walls is really good. I have a dog and the hair handling is so much better than my old one. There's a bit of room for improvement in the dog hair handling feature (maybe needs a bit more room between brushes or perhaps a 3rd smaller brush to allow for a bigger gap for hair clumps) but it's pretty good.

Finally the Roborock app is so much better than the iRobot app.

One of the best robo vacuum out there

I am old with a bad back. It has become difficult, even impossible for me to keep the floor care up. I have a cat and a bird feeder in the house. The bird feeder tracks in seeds and mud. I have a Eufy 11S and a Roomba 980. I’ve had a couple mopping robots, one a Roomba and one an ILife Shinebot. I love clean floors above all else. I decided to research new robots that have come out since 2017. I found “Just A Dad” videos and quickly learned about the Roborock Qrevo Curve. I really loved it off the bat except for the $1599 sticker price. I continued researching until one day when Amazon had $500 off. Since I had paid around $900 on the Roomba 980. This was really a deal. I ordered it and immediately discovered it vastly exceeded all my expectations.

For the last 18 days, I have run it daily. The hard floors are now cleaner than they have been in years!! No streaks or weird residues. They feel so good under bare feet. I can slide on the floors with my socks on. Woo hoo!!

Pros:

Edge cleaning and transition cleaning

Corner cleaning

Superior floor mopping

Mostly maintains itself

Much quieter than my other robots except for dead Roomba mop

Empties itself of debris

Cleans and dries mop pads

Has a bag to contain all the debris so there is never any nastiness to clean up manually

Cons:

It’s hard to think of any. The cost can be a stumbling block and in fact it was for me. But sales do happen.

I love it. It’s easy to use, and you can almost forget about it compared to the Roomba and Eufy. Not having to empty debris after each use is such a game changer!

Real Life info:

I do have to fill the water tank every other day. This is because I use the highest water setting and I have a lot of hard flooring to clean. This is simple for me because I don’t have to empty and clean a yucky dust bin and brush rollers. The bag can last 3 months. It is nowhere near full. I’ve had to clean the dust filter a few times due to the large build up in the carpets. I suspect this number will drop as the Curve sucks up more dirt with each vacuum.

It has gotten stuck under beds so I’ve taken care of that by making under beds a No Go zone.

It’s extremely smart. The more I use it. The more intuitive it gets. Not everyone will use a robot as much as I do. If you would use it 1-2-or 3 times a week, and use lower settings, then robot maintenance would drop dramatically. I, however, love the higher power settings.

I do highly recommended this robot! It has actually cheered me up. It is truly magnificent!

The other vacuuming robots could scatter crumbs and cat litter (Eufy) and frequently, (very frequently), get stuck and be hard to find. This Roborock model has no real issues and with the map, you always know where it is.

Update: another Pro- my cat is not afraid of this robot compared to the Roomba.

Bon appareil qui permet d'avoir une maison peut-être pas nickel mais un peu moins sale surtout vu la présence d'un golden retriever.

Cet appareil a des limites: il ne tire pas les portes pour passer derrière et le lavage n'est pas parfait. Avec sa petite serpillère, difficile qu'il en soit autrement mais passer un coup de balai espagnol sur les taches restantes est rapide.

Bref, il ne dispense pas totalement de faire du ménage chez soi mais il simplifie bien la vie.

La programmation est assez facile mais il convient d'enlever le maximum de chose lors de la première cartographie d'une pièce par l'appareil pour qu'il enregistre le maximum de surface à nettoyer et quand il passera ensuite, il évitera les obstacles non répertoriés sur le plan qu'il a enregistré.

J’adore ce robot, bonne qualité prix

Es muy buena para controlar la pelusa y el polvo, para fregar el piso cerámico la debo poner dos veces para que no quede rayado. Pero vale totalmente la compra. Usa el jabón de la marca, mantenla limpia para conservar su blanco brillante. Lo ideal es que hubiera en negro.

Show de bola, limpa meu apartamento muito melhor que uma pessoa, excelente, perfeito, show de bola!!!
