Wow! I’ve never seen a torch like this one. It’s really well made and the finish is really nice. It’s so pretty! Pretty enough that it is a focal point on display on our bar. It’s easy to use, high quality and a conversation starter too. It’s not only great for using with our cocktail smoker kit, but it was perfect for making crème brûlée. I can’t wait to find some other recipes and drinks to try it on.

    I am so glad this well respected vendor decided to offer a high quality torch to compliment their already fine offering in their standard beverage smoker kit. From both an aesthetic and operational standpoint this new torch is quite exceptional. It will be the last one you own (or for that matter) the last one you wish to own. Do yourself a favor and upgrade as soon as you can. Like the other fine offerings from this vendor, it comes packaged in display quality packaging you will feel proud to show off on your bar. Looking forward to their next great idea!

    Important: this arrives empty, NO BUTANE. A cannister to fill it is available at the local Walton Zone for under $2 US. Watch some YouTube videos to see how to fill it. Once up and running it works well for lighting our pipe.

    I purchased this for a restaurant. The look and feel is great, but the first one I received sparked but didn’t self light but if I added flame from another source it stayed lit, I returned it. Second one would light, but then promptly go out after a few seconds. Returned it.

    I expected more material. It is super thin metal and very light. Almost Chinchie feeling weight wise. But feels good in the hand and works well. I see brass color I think dense....this is not that. But still a good torch. The lock feature is a bit stiff. Might get better with use.

    I purchased my original Social Cocktail Smoker last year and continue to use it constantly when entertaining. However, I was thrilled when The Social announced they would now be selling the torch separately. I purchased it because I thought it would be handy to have a second one around the house and I was NOT wrong. In just a couple of weeks, I have used it in the kitchen for searing and browning, I have used it to light my charcoal chimney and I have even used it in my shope to braze some copper.

    It is very high quality, very adjustable and I really like that you can lock it in the "on" position. This came in handy when brazing so I could use two hands.
