Cinema for cinema's sake.
I’ve always been deeply interested in nuclear complexes, and I can definitely say this film felt raw. I’m not even talking about the corpses or the devastated settings, it’s the anxiety that relentlessly builds through the first half via mass media, and then in the second half leaves you panting and agonizing alongside the characters.
The last film I experienced with this level of rawness was "Come and See".
This is it.
Someone during the movie said "Minchia macari quannu mori" referring to joker dying while singing.
Where do we start?
Frank Herbert and his majestic story? Villeneuve and his approach to Sci-Fi?
Hans Zimmer and his way of blasting the whole movie theater?
Greig Fraser and his colors?
Well, to be brutally honest i don't really know where to start; however we know for sure that Florence Pugh was STUNNING.
