The very easy and quick trail to view Cherry Creek Falls is best done in the late spring/early summer when everything is green and the falls are at their fullest. To get to the falls it is a 0.2 mile walk with several nice viewpoints of the canyon along the way.

After enjoying the falls, you can continue on for several bigger loops through the park. From the falls it is another 0.75 miles to the dam ruins, and 1 mile to the junction of the rimrock trail, You can then complete the rimrock trail and back for a lovely 4 mile loop spanning some of the best scenery and wildlife in the park. You can go further via the inner canyon trail to a much longer loop to the eastern side of the park.
