Hi, my name’s Ella, I run Raven’s Rescue Norfolk. For nearly six years, Raven’s Rescue (RR) has been a sanctuary where non-releasable corvids find permanent safety, comfort, and care. What began as a small haven for these incredible birds has grown into so much more.

Three years ago, we expanded our mission to include wildlife rescue and release. Since then, this work has become the heart of what we do. Each year between spring and autumn, we receive hundreds of calls about injured or orphaned wildlife needing urgent help. Due to avian flu risks, we must pause rescue operations in winter - but our sanctuary and phone line remains open all year round.

Our work is powered almost entirely by public generosity. Without donations, we simply couldn’t provide medical care, food, safe housing, or rehabilitation for the many animals who depend on us.

Recently we suffered a potentially devastating setback: We lost our main source of funding.

As we prepare for the busy rescue season to begin again, we are urgently seeking support to keep our doors open and ensure no animal is turned away.
