Miah is a Black Transwoman with Type 1 Diabetes residing in Portland, Oregon. Miah recently lost one of her jobs this winter over workplace violations and has been working full time as a Licensed Massage Therapist to make ends meet. She recently lost her car and is currently facing a housing crisis after she had recently left her housing for an opportunity that ended up falling short at the last second. She’s seeking urgent support to help her find secure housing for the summer where she can safely sleep and protect her medication and supplies.
