Full description
Playful, curious, and endlessly entertaining, dolphins are among the most captivating animals on the planet — and seeing them in their natural habitat is an experience like no other.
Gibraltar’s Bay is home to three resident dolphin species, drawn to the rich supply of sardines, mackerel, and flying fish that thrive in these waters. This makes Gibraltar one of the best places in Europe to encounter dolphins in the wild.
Your adventure takes place aboard the spacious and comfortable catamaran Dolphin Adventurer, where you’ll enjoy an uncrowded setting, live commentary, and the expertise of knowledgeable guides who bring every sighting to life.
Each trip offers sweeping views of both the European and African coastlines, along with the iconic Pillars of Hercules. But the true highlight is the dolphins themselves — spotted on 99% of tours, often in pods ranging from 40 to over 500 individuals.
Watch as common, striped, and bottlenose dolphins glide alongside the boat, play in the wake, and sometimes leap from the water in spectacular displays just meters away. It’s a magical, unforgettable encounter.
Tours depart daily morning and afternoon from Marina Bay, a relaxed waterfront setting where you can soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere before and after your trip.
