I stayed at G @ Market for a little under 2 years. Most of my experience was under Lund, the previous management company.

1. The first summer, something was wrong with our A/C unit and they had to come out multiple times to tinker with it before it went out completely and we had no aircon. They hooked up a singe portable window unit temporarily until the part to fix the central A/C came in, ~3 weeks.
2. One of the outlets in the bedroom had a staple through the wiring which kept tripping the breaker. It took multiple visits (and multiple holes in the wall) to figure out the issue before they hired outside electricians to repair it. Said electricians told us we were lucky the wiring didn’t catch fire.
3. I’m not sure if it was the angle the tub was installed at, but every shower resulted in quite a bit of standing water in the corner, which was a yummy breeding ground for mold.
4. Parking spots are EXPENSIVE. We have one car and never had problems finding street parking close to the building.
5. We lived on the 2nd floor and never had any noise issues. The walls/floors were very soundproof! Huge win!

Most of these are simply from the way the building was constructed, and management always dealt with any complaints we had very quickly and they were always kind.

It was a bit expensive for the area, but we thought it was worth it for the location. You can easily walk to the new Walmart campus, 8th street market, & farmer’s market on Saturdays. I can’t speak too much on the new management company, but they were very fair with our security deposit and the lease break/move-out process was smooth and painless. We loved living here and would have stayed longer had we not needed to move.
