Tucked away on the main drag of Deansgate is Jing Jai Thai Cafe.

An what can be only described as overlooked little hidden gem if Bolton!!

A lovely family run business offering a wide selection of home cooked orthentic Thai dishes. You're spoiled for choice what to try first!! 🍜🍛🍶..

We tried several of the starters and a couple of mains as had rather large appetite and rely was blown away with the quality of the food.!!

The chicken wings were Spicey but with a zingy flavour. The Satay chicken was really nice with homemade peanuts sauce 😋 that left ya craving for more!!!  We tried the Tom Kha soup as one of the mains, and this was diligently fragrant with a rich creamy base, slurping this away whilst tucking into a protion of Pad Med Mamuang!! This had a nice stick sauce not to spicey, but nice and sweat!!.

Not rely a sweet toothed person, so don't tend to go for a pudding, but after speaking with the staff an being told one of the daughters had made these fresh it be rude not too ablige.  I had to try there milk cake (never tried this before) certainly a diffrnet kidney of pudding, very orthentic to Thai land apparently but have to say not too sweet but with a fragrant tone of jasmine!! Rely did fish the meal off nicely👌 - highly recommend giving a try if available on your visit.

New small cafe in town, whilst visiting in town. Lovely family run business, not busy was able to get a seat in the afternoon. Had the rice and three option, yellow, manssaman & pad me mamuang curries and Thai Ice tea - authentic and fresh. Calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Absolutely outstanding

Thai is easily our favourite type of food and it's such great news that Bolton now has a place like this. We called in the late on a Thursday afternoon and we made very welcome and took a table by the window which was great for watching what was going on as well as have a wonderful meal.

The staff are fantastic. Just about all family who really care about you having a good time and know how to cook this type of food to a very high standard indeed.

Every dish we had was beautiful flavoured, spicy as it should be and a big portion as well. We just had some spring rolls and two main courses and there was enough for us to take away the amount for a really good lunch portion the next day as well!

If you get the opportunity just go. This is better than any other Thai food I've had in this country and most of the stuff I've had in Thailand as well!

Jing Jai Thai

Jing Jai is an absolute treasure of Bolton. It's a beautiful place both inside and out. The food was great. I ate some garlic sesame chicken toast and tried the masamman with a Thai tea. It was all amazing. They even had an opportunity to win a discount off your meal by drawing a stick. I got 50% off my meal which was incredible. The food came fast and the staff and atmosphere was warm and friendly. I couldn't recommend this place enough and I will most certainly be back again.

The only shame is that it is only open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday till 6pm.

This a a hidden gem in Bolton - the best Thai food I have eaten in the uk - great value and authentic tastes - as for the staff this is A family run business and they are super nice and friendly today I went there for lunch. I also had to return for dinner. As they gave me a sample of another dish and it was so delicious Highly recommend , Only downside is their opening hours Please make sure you check before going -  On A sidenote one of the daughters makes fresh  cakes and it’s worth saving a bit of stomach space for 🍰

We went to have lunch late and they were reopening so there was 50% discount offer for rice. We ordered two rices, satay chicken wings and Thai milk tea.
The Thai milk tea is very different from what I tried in other places. However, I think this thai milk tea is less favoured, I like strong tea favoured with condensed milk. The curry chicken etc were pre-cooked, so when you ordered, they can just pour some so it won’t wait for long. However, the chicken is not tender anymore as I keep warm or reheat, so you can imagine. The curry sauce is very nice, it safes the dishes because of the thickness of curry and taste of curry were perfect.
The peanut sauce for satay chicken wings were good. Their sauces are perfect for us, just meat is over cooked so it’s not tender.
They offered coconut egg roll things to us which were very crispy and very nice but I am too full.
