Boba Fett is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe. In The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, he is a bounty hunter hired by Darth Vader, in order to track down the Rebel Alliance.[1] He was also added briefly to the earlier movie A New Hope when the movie was digitally remastered.

Boba made his first appearance in the cartoon segment of the Star Wars Holiday Special, voiced by Don Francks.

Boba made an unknown appearance at the 1978 San Anselmo Country Fair and Parade, in which his costume was showcased to the public, two years before his theatrical debut.

Boba made his live action debut in The Empire Strikes Back, where he is hired by Darth Vader to track down the Millenium Falcon. He later delivers a captured Han Solo to the ruler of Tatooine, Jabba the Hutt.

In Return of the Jedi, Boba seemingly dies after tumbling into a Sarlacc pit following a jetpack malfunction. After some time, he awakens, and makes his escape.

Attack of the Clones details his origin as an unaltered clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, raised as his son. After the death of his father, Boba continues his legacy, wearing his armor and becoming a fearless bounty hunter.

Boba Fett is later seen in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, following his escape from the Sarlacc. In the spin off series, he becomes the "daimyo" (ruler) of Tatooine after overthrowing Bib Fortuna, Jabba the Hutt's successor. In the two Disney+ series, he is played by New Zealand actor, Temuera Morrison, who also portrayed Boba's father, Jango, in Attack of the Clones.
