LEA - Voices from the Camp [Documentary/Freiburg/2021]

What does it mean to live in a refugee camp? The initial reception center for refugees (LEA) is located in Lörracher Straße in Freiburg im Breisgau. Life there is characterized by controls, insecurity and heteronomy. In this documentary, LEA residents who are campaigning for better living conditions share their experiences and insights of life in the LEA and violations of their basic rights. It is a snapshot of a social movement in Freiburg, which stands up for a self-determined life and housing and against mass accommodations. They demand: Good housing for all - regardless of residence status.

Es wird eine Momentaufnahme gezeichnet von einer sozialen Bewegung in Freiburg, die für ein selbstbestimmtes Leben und Wohnen und gegen Massenunterkünfte eintritt.
