Parallel Port Controller - Have you ever wanted to:

  • Automate multiple on/off devices (lights, motors, alarms)
  • Write a program that controls a robot
  • Connect sensors in you home/room to a computer
  • Build a custom interface for a game or other program

Of course you have, and you just want to know how. Read More...

Latest Utility:

High Score Board - After several requests for the code to add a high score board into a game, I have finally had time to write a decent bit of code for it. This code allows you to adjust the number of scores you want to be shown on the list. The filename for the high score list can be changed easily as well. The code is fully documented, and there is a demo function that runs by default to show you how the board works. I how that this helps those of you who have been asking for this code. Download it from the Utilities page.

Latest Release:

Robot Attack II - Although this is an older game (1997), it is still among my favorites. You must drive a tank through 10 challenging levels filled with barriers and hazards to defeat the robots who plan to take over the world. This game has been recently modified to work on a computer of any speed (won't run too fast). It's an interesting play, and you'll want to keep going until you pass level 10! Fun to play with friends! Download it from the Games Page

Quote of the day...

How amazing it is that a half a byte of memory from the parallel port is enough to control a decent robotic arm, but it takes 40,960 times as much space to save the words "hello world" as an MS Word 2000 document.
