The last few days this subreddit has become almost impossible to read. Every post revolves either around speculation about SQ42 or the bad 4.8.x patch for SC.
To put an end to at least the endless speculation about another SQ42 delay, i created a website calculator that can determine the game's release date with absolute accuracy. Feel free to use it whenever your faith starts to waver. This calculator uses highly sophisticated algorithms and determines the release date of SQ42 with absolute accuracy... by adding two years.

I think there was a really good window to announce it at DefenseCon for a mid to late summer release, but at this point, it's too late for it. Either CIG announces it for a fall release, in which GTA 6 marketing takes over, or a late December release, where GTA 6 will receive an influx of new players. Either way, Squadron gets overshadowed by a bigger franchise. I think we should get ready to hear about another delay
