Lawrence Edward Page was born on March 26, 1973 in Lansing, Ingham, Michigan, United States, son of Carl Victor Page (1938–1996). Larry followed in his father's love of computers, beginning his interest at age 6.^[1]

Larry attended his doctoral studies at Stanford University, having earned his B.S. in Engineering from University of Michigan. He went on to co-found Google, whose goal is originally stated as wanting to "[do] good things for the world even if we forgo some short-term gains," while their mission was "Don't be evil." ^[1]

Larry is still living.
