Biography
Roderick Toombs was a Canadian-American Professional Wrestler who was known as Rowdy Roddy Piper.
Roderick George Toombs was born 17 April 1954 in Saskatoon, Canada to parents Stanley and Eileen (Anderson) Toombs.[1]
In 1982 he married Kitty Jo Dittrich. They had four children: Ariel Teal Toombs, Colton Baird Toombs, Anastacia Shea Toombs and Falon Danika Toombs.
Rod, or as he was better know as "Rowdy Roddy Piper" was a Pro Wrestler with the WWF and WCW. He had 34 Championships.
WWE Hall of Famer, 2005.
Rod died 31 July 2015 in California.[2][3][4][5]
It is said that he is a great-grandson of Robert Toombs of the Confederacy[1] but the genealogical records don't seem to support that since Robert had only three children, a boy who died of Scarlet Fever at the age of 1, and two daughters.
