HI, I am Patty Alcala and my blog is named Strawberries Forever because I have been collecting and drawing strawberries for many years. Through my first blog, I learned that my love for writing is much stronger than I had ever known.  This is where I will put and store my responses to challenges, daily posts, Blogging 201, and bits and pieces about my life.  I am excited to begin my writings here.

I am a retired Physician Assistant with many years of medical experience in my background. I was a nurse before I took the plunge and went to the USC Physician Assistant Program.  I was married for thirty years to the love of my life before he met his end in a Metrolink crash.  We have three gorgeous children:  My oldest child is Maximilliano, my daughter is Crystal and my youngest, Alex lost his battle with multiple chronic illnesses three years after my husband’s death.

I am now spreading my wings to find what this crazy life has in store for me.  My broken wings are mended and I am ready for the flight.  Thank you for stopping by my blog.  I hope you find something to enjoy here.
