From the manufacturer

In Inis you play a Celtic Chieftain who has just arrived in a new land. You must construct citadels, build sanctuaries, and indulge your wanderlust by exploring other territories.

Most of your actions will come from cards which you’ll draft during the Assembly phase. You may also have access to Leader cards and Epic Deeds which can give you a strategic advantage during the round.

As you spread your clan throughout the land there’s bound to be battles over territory. Citadels can offer some protection, but maneuvers will cause players to either withdraw, discard cards, or remove clan members.

As you draft cards for the round, you are trying to make the best hand to accomplish your own goals. At the same time, you don’t want an opponent getting their hands on a card that they’ve been looking for.

Inis features beautiful Celtic art by Dimitri Bielak and Jim Fitzpatrick. From the cards, to the territory tiles, to even the box cover, the art is unique from anything else in the hobby.

There are three different ways to win the game, forcing you to adjust your strategies, not only to have a chance at victory, but to block your opponents as well.

CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.
