I’m thrilled to announce that BOXER STORY is one of five films (and the only animated film) to be selected for inclusion in the 2019 Texas Filmmaker’s Showcase!
What’s the Texas Filmmaker’s Showcase? Every year the Houston Film Commission puts together a 90-minute collection of films by Texas filmmakers, then flies the selected filmmakers to Los Angeles for a special screening. Then, the showcase tours the country screening at various festivals and venues throughout the year.
So, we’re off to L. A. for our debut screening…

Boxer Story just won best animation at the Romanian international festival: Short To The Point! That means the film will now be included in a touring showcase that screens in over twenty Eastern European cities, including Prague, Bucharest, and Alexandria. Thanks again for your enthusiasm and support!
