Britta’s Blog – Letters from Scotland

I write a daily blog, tracking my journey through life, my letter from Scotland into the world. My blog posts are always subjective, opinionated and sometimes weird. Recurring themes include a lot about my writing journey, Scotland (of course!), nature, family, creativity. Well, in short: life, the universe and all the rest of it. You’ll always find food for thought here, along with my personal nonsense.

I am a German circus performer, writer & linguist, thriving in Scotland since the year 2000. I run a creative writing group, The Procrastinators, and facilitate creative writing workshops both online and in person. Please use the ‘Contact’ page if you would like to make an inquiry.

I am currently Artist in Residence at the Star Project, a community organisation based in Paisley. On 16th May 2026, I’ll be launching ‘Light between the Lines’ at the Paisley Book Festival 2026.
