Greetings From the office of the gary city clerk

During my tenure as Deputy Mayor of the City of Gary, I was positioned to interact with many fine governmental agencies throughout Northwest Indiana and other regions. When the voters of the City of Gary elected me to represent them as the official keeper of the records, I took a solemn oath to perform the duties that surround the office with integrity, diligence and commitment to ensure a professional work environment. My goal for the Office of the Gary City Clerk is to create a governmental model of professional excellence for Northwest Indiana.

While working towards providing exemplary customer service, our staff is also being prepared for growth and development in other areas of the office. Hours of operation are designed to accommodate the community, and in February 2018 our office and the city court were the first entities in Lake County to adopt the states case management system (Odyssey), to provide online access to the public for case file information. Total success takes time, and I do appreciate your patience and support as we continue to develop the Office the Gary City Clerk into a source of pride for our community.
