Madelaine Landry is a native of New Orleanian who now resides in Southwest Louisiana. In August 2006, she accepted the position as Executive Director of the LSUE Foundation and Institutional Development Director at LSU in Eunice. She obtained her BA in Political Science from UL Lafayette in 2004 and her MS from ULL in December 2006, with a concentration in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication. Her work experience has primarily been in the communication field, specifically governmental public relations, journalism grant-writing and public speaking. She has had a number of feature articles published in The Advocate, Ascension Citizen (Gonzales), Daily Advertiser and Acadiana Profile (Lafayette). Currently, she is currently editing her novel entitled Every Living Thing, as well as completing a compilation of personal essays entitled Plate Tectonics. Madelaine is married to Louisiana native, Tom Landry, from Bell City. They have recently started a grass fed cattle business in Jeff Davis Parish where they reside with their dogs, cats, cattle, chickens, horses, pigs and Madelaine's honeybees. Together they have five grown children and one grandson.
