Scissors Paper Glue 2 – 1

And her we go – the second volume of Scissors Paper Glue is on it’s way. For this small disc bound art journal I used the kraft paper pages I cut from the sketchbook used for the first volume. I am working with a limited color palette, adding some markings with gel pen and fineliner. The pages are almost square (18.5 x 19.5 cms).

The first page turned into the cover –

collages 57 – 60

These are the last four of the sixty small collages in this first collage journal, using various papers from my stash. They came together very intuitively – I cut random shapes, moved them around on the pages, adding and removing until I was satisfied. Size of the journal is 20 x 20 cms/8″ x 8″.

I’m currently working on the kraft paper pages I cut out from this sketchbook. Sixty more small collages are on the way.

And here’s one more for the cover –
