It’s been far too long again since I have given a decent amount of time to my art work. I could bore you all with the reasons for it, work stress, no time, no motivation blah blah, but instead of that why don’t I just get on with doing the creative stuff and posting my progress again like I used too 🙂

It has been far too long since I made a decent creative entry in here. Sometimes life just gets in the way no matter how strong your intentions are.
I have some free time coming up soon and I intend to use it for creative purposes! I am currently working on a fresh new website for my graphic design work, which is taking up a lot of my time. Once I release this out into the wild I should have more time to get back to the sketch a week and creative adventures.

My work scheduale has gone into hyperdrive these past couple of weeks and I haven’t had a second to get any creative juices flowing or update on anything.
I am hoping things will start to calm down once April hits, I will get back on the case then, It has mainly been the sketch a week project which has suffered. So it will be having a grand comeback next month.

Sketch of the week has gone all pair shaped lately, it would seem I have fallen behind and as a result my weeks are all out of sync.
The concept of drawing every week was to practice and improve my observational drawing skills. Now that I am working in digital design I rarely have to pick up a pencil let alone onbserve and sketch. So far thru this challenge I have done very little onservational drawing and seem to be staying close to what I feel comfortable with, drawing from 2D, flat illustrations and photographs.
Maybe its time for me to go back to the basics, still life drawings?
