Julie Thomas authors the home decor and lifestyle blog, Little Farmstead. Her design work has been featured in magazines and online in the US and Europe. With a background in home staging and redesign, she finds joy in creating warm and welcoming spaces for living. Having an appreciation for both American and European farmhouse style, she enjoys searching for time-worn treasures as a vintage and antiques dealer. Upon earning her Business degree, she honed her writing skills working on marketing campaigns in the technology sector. Later, her job in the aerospace industry gave her the opportunity to travel, learn about different cultures, and observe design aesthetics throughout the world. Julie grew up in California, and has lived in the Pacific Northwest for eighteen years. She treasures everyday life with her husband, three sons, and a menagerie of animals on their family’s mini farm, just past the city limits.
