I really can't comprehend most people.... This is a review for a Bundle. Yep, an Xbox One, a Special Edition controller and Call of Duty Advanced Warfare (along with obvious basics like power supply & headset).

The console has not a single issue.

The controller is extremely detailed, and it does not have a single issue.

The game is incredible. I won't write a million page review, but it's unreal (detail, acting - everything). I am not a "1 hit kill/Multiplayer" guy. I like a story, or some sort of emotion from what Im playing (think "The Last of Us", Bioshock series etc.). So, I cannot comment on the Multiplayer aspect.

What's with the 1 star reviews?: All of us that got this on release day couldn't download the game because of an Xbox Live issue. An issue with Microsoft that lasted something around 24 hrs, but people are rating the entire system based on this. We all 'did' get to download the game within a day or so, and there is not a single person writing a bad review (because of their impatience) that did not get the game. Everyone has everything this bundle says it has, and there is no malfunction in anything. If anyone wants to get Microsoft's panties in a bunch, contact them, write a review on an Xbox Live Card here on Amazon and tell everyone about your issue with their online network. Do not come to review a network problem when reviewing a product. Would anyone in their right mind say "I hate my house because the water supply was cut off for the first two days after I moved in. Yeah, it has a 4 car garage, swimming pool, and I love the theater room and everything else, but I hate it because the 'Water Company' didn't make it out for 2 days and I will forever hate my house"? If that analogy doesn't make sense I can make many more explanations to help someone comprehend how much it simply does not make sense to bad mouth an entire product because of another issue.

System: The system is great, and I wasn't sure there would be any need for the extra Hard Drive capacity, but after seeing how much data is used by each game, I feel like it was worth it Vs the option of buying and having to keep an external HDD connected if you were to run out of space. I really expected to dislike the Xboe One, because I have had the PS4 (2 - PS4 units) and the controller on the Xbox One looks like it would be huge (doesn't look like it would fit properly in your hands). The controller honestly fits much better than my PS4 controller, and my hands are not big. I also expected the graphics to not be as well based on hardware specs and the fact that some games are only running 720p on the Xbox One. I see absolutely no discernible difference between the two consoles. Im very surprised by that. I figured surely the PS4 would be the better console to purchase a game for if the same game were released on both, and that I would only buy Xbox exclusives that I simply couldn't get for the PS4 (Forza series for example). I actually enjoy playing the Xbox One, more. A friend of mine also prefers the Xbox One. I spoke with my cousin (who is in his mid 30's), and we tried to figure out why we like the Xbox One so much more than our PS4's. Im not bad mouthing the PS4, and I am a SONY guy (SONY TVs are the only brand I trust). Im simply pointing out that if you're on the fence and wondering if the Xbox One is just simply insufficient in hardware specs to be able to compare to the Playstation 4, don't let it veere you away from the Xbox.

Again, between the 2 consoles, I and the only other two people I know (that own the unit) actually prefer using the Xbox One when given the choice. This may not be the case for everyone. If anyone is curious on what I am viewing the 2 units on, it is a new SONY W630B 60" that I sit about 8 feet away from. The color is calibrated (ok, the TV is mind blowing & I have a 2013 model & older XBR2 but that will be another review) and I have it set to expose any imperfection and am not using anything "dot noise" reduction or anything like that. The framerates for the games are the same and I really don't see the PS4 doing anything better than the One. The PS4 is thinner and the controller gives off the impression that it will fit the hands better, but both of my PS4 controllers are shifting on the sides (I had the black PS4, sold it & got the white version and have seen this in both controllers that came with these units). It's kind of a creaking sound where the top and bottom meet. The Xbox One controller feels so solidly built that it feels like someone welded the thing together. It's very very well designed, and I was so disgusted by the idea of the controller (from images Id seen) that I was looking to see if I could somehow connect the PS4 controller up to the One via USB, or find an emulator in the future to allow me to possibly wirelessly sync the PS4 controller to the One. Anyhow, my extensive rambling is just the simple point that even if you don't agree with me once you try it for yourself, I believe you'll still be amazed at just how well the controller for the One does fit, if you're like me and are thinking "Wow... That thing looks like a beast of a controller, and the unit looks kind of massive as well...". I don't think you'll regret buying any Xbox one unit. I think it was money well spent.

I love both consoles, and really my opinions on the controller are pretty irrelevant to the rating, but for those who may be curious, you may be like me and like the Xbox much more than the Playstation. I know that comparison kind of doesn't belong here kind of like everyone should have reviewed Microsoft's services in another area, but what I mentioned were my biggest concerns/fears, and I have had 0 regrets. If you don't like the unit, the controller or anything else, remember Amazon has a 30 day return policy and will even pay to have the unit shipped back. If you're thinking about it and it won't put you in any sort of financial bind, I would highly recommend this unit.

NOTE: One quirk that made me really feel like I have to work to operate the PS4 controller is the difference in the way you turn the controller off compared to the One. The One, you simply hold the Xbox logo down on the controller for 1 second and it makes a very brief vibration & brings up a tiny menu with 2 options (shut down or turn off the controller). On the PS4, there are also 2 options. You can press the PS logo and it will bring up a menu that swallows the entire screen, and then you select "devices" (I believe that's the section) and then it brings you to another screen to turn off the controller. This is extremely annoying when you're with someone and trying to watch Netflix and need to turn the controller on to rewind or fast forward, because you have to go thru the menus every time unless you use method #2. Option 2, you simply hold the PS4 logo for 10 complete seconds. No biggy, right? Wrong. It brings the menu up that swallows the screen and stays there with whatever movie just passed in the background. Many times it's less annoying to run thru the menu and get back to a movie within 4-5 seconds than it is to interrupt it and have to stare at a menu for 10 seconds. It sounds like a very minor issue and dumb to complain about a menu on the screen for such a brief time, but given the option to use the Xbox for streaming or watching BluRays, we choose the Xbox everytime. To top it off, the Xbox One games are often cheaper than the PS4 content, and being that the only exclusive I had an interest in being Infamous Second Son, I have no reason to turn the PS4 on. It's annoying to stream from, annoying to watch movies on and there is nothing that justifies paying the higher cost for the PS4 games. I have my Xbox One exclusives and there is absolutely not one single PS4 game on my shelf right now and I have no idea when a Sony exclusive that I am interested will be released. The PS4 is a sitting duck, and the Xbox has reason to use it where the PS4 has reasons not to.

I hope this helped someone because Im no paid reviewer, and I can only imagine the email alerts Im going to get saying "Someone posted a response to your review on the Xbox One" that will have a different opinion and they will want to be 'sure' I know how they feel about it. Haha! I hope you guys enjoy the unit. Both have their ups and downs. As of now the only downside to the Xbox is the size of the console itself.

Great system. In comparison to the PS4, I do prefer the Xbox One. I my boyfriend got the PS4 a few months before this came out and must say that there are many options that the Xbox has that I prefer. I held out on buying an Xbox One specifically for this edition and I am not disappointed. I am biased however, being a dedicated Xbox/PC over PS gamer. There's so much more that could be said about the system and a comparison, however if you're already thinking about upgrading to current gen, I'm sure you know all the specs already.

A few things:

- a physical copy of the game should have been included. I like collecting hard copies of the games I play/own. And on midnight release day, this proved to be a MASSIVE fiasco for Microsoft and Activision. People that paid a lot of money for this system couldn't play the game until around 26 hours after they got the system because there was no hardcopy of the disc included, game codes weren't working and their servers were flooded. So the first day I had my console it was a very expensive Netflix and Hulu machine.

- Rechargeable controllers. Come on Microsoft. Playstation has been doing this for years. Do you really need that extra $25 from a play and charge kit? Are you that pressed to make us spend $100 a year on freaking AA batteries?

- Kinect. I'm not a huge fan of the Kinect. I didn't use one for my 360, however considering how much the Xbox One's new functions are dependent on voice and video, I wish they put one in. For a $450 console, it would be nice if I didn't have to drop the $70 to get a Kinect separately. That being said, it is nice (once you're used to it and don't mind looking dumb or your dog randomly coming up to high five you) to control the Xbox UI with your hand and not a controller. It saves controller battery life. You can also vocally command the Xbox to do your bidding. This is about as close to being a magician or wizard I will ever get, so I appreciate this function.

All in all, I am not disappointed with this system at all. Yes, I did have to spend a few extra hundred dollars to get this up to speed with my needs (Kinect, extra controllers, rechargeable battery kits, new headset - this does come with one, however it is flimsier than a cheap strippers g-string; my nice Tritton headset was incompatible), but it was worth it. You know you want to get this edition of the console, you deserve it.

Alright, I noticed a lot of people are giving this bundle a bad review because of the issues they had while downloading the game. Yes, I know it sucked because it downloaded really slow and sometimes the percentage downloaded would drop from 35% to 26% but I still think this does not deserve the 2 and 1/2 star rating it has. I just think people expect too much from these bundles and then are disappointed when something goes wrong. I know people will say that they are paying $450 for a console that doesn't work but all those issues were from Microsoft's side. Their servers were being hammered by all the people trying to download the game so of course that is going to cause problems when it comes to the downloads but I don't think that is a reason to give it a bad score. It also took mine about 2 days to download I believe but it was not a big deal because I also bought Forza Horizon 2, great game by the way, so I had something to keep be busy while the game downloaded. If you're thinking about picking this up you should still get it, or any other bundle, just expect to have slow download speeds and maybe even pick up a physical copy of another game to keep you busy while you download the other game.

The console works good in my opinion and I am happy with it. I also like how you can copy the games to an external hard drive and take the games to a friend's house and play it. Another thing is that you can also watch TV or use other apps while you are playing a game. Setting it up took about 30 to 40 minutes or so, wasn't very difficult.

The console came with the Chat Headset, the digital download for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, pretty good game compared to Ghosts, and the limited edition call of duty controller which costs about $70. The console has a 1TB hard drive but with the operating system and all the files the system needs it goes down to 740Gb I believe. Now, if you complain about that I don't know what to tell you, yes windows operating system only takes 20-25 Gb but the Xbox One uses 3 operating systems and that is why it takes more space. You can get more info on the OS that the Xbox One uses on the interwebs. Even though this console has a bad rating I would still recommend it and now at least you know what to expect when you get it. got my bundle yesterday and I was not able to download the game, the actual game code did not work!!!! the other three codes downloaded fine, but the actual game code didn’t work. tried doing it on the xbox.live website, nope didn’t work there either. didn’t want to wait 80 minutes for chat support, tried tweeting @XboxSupport....no response...STILL!!! I was more than frustrated last night!!! so this morning (11-4-14) I tried the code again, and it worked...however, it’s just the plain advanced warfare, it’s not the advanced warfare Day Zero edition....

why didn't the bundle just come with the disc instead of this stupid code crap!! would've saved so many problems....

I’ve been downloading this game now for the past THREE HOURS.....19%...hopefully its ready to play by the time the new COD comes out....hopefully there is some sort of compensation for this, was really looking forward to logging some hours, instead I’m watching paint dry here!!

I gave it one star because the Xbox itself is awesome and the scheme is great, even the advanced warfare sounds when you turn it on/off are pretty cool....also, I can’t give zero star, but would’ve gave one because the Xbox works great (As far as I know, haven’t played it yet actually)

First ever 1 TB hard drive x box system built. Comes with a matching controller and the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game down load code, which can be redeemed in the x box store, along with the bonus content and gear for the game. Which also means, Internet is needed, and a must have to fully enjoy the system(explained more later). The controller uses two double A batteries, after a few hours if gaming are done, so I highly recommend the play and charge kit they have, sold separately. The paint job and battle scars are very bad ass. Cool unique sound effects when turn on and off the console and when you eject a disc. 1 TB hard drive definitely a big deal, since upon initial setup, you realize 220gb already used on the operating system and what not, leaving you with 780 gb. Doesn't come with any apps downloaded, so you can see the need for space immediately. One game took about 50 gb, just FYI. A few hiccups during gaming, I.e. game freezing, but the console restated itself and everything was fine. A hard reset, holding the power button for about 10 sec, will fix almost all problems you encounter, just like your pc. User interface is simple and easy to use for the most part. I'm originally a PC gamer so the graphics fall in comparison to any decent custom built rig or laptop. If you're not a PC gamer, you'll be none the wiser. Overall a solid buy for entertainment, you can watch DVDs and blue rays, after downloading an app of course, buy or rent new movies and TV series off of their x box video player/store. You will be offered an x box live gold membership during set up, which is absolutely a must, to get access to the online multiplayer aspect of your game, and the nice discounts on games. So in conclusion, I am happy with my purchase, really steps up the entertainment factor of the room with so many options. Good job Microsoft.

Ignore all the haters. You get the specially designed console and controller, a 1TB hard drive, the digital version of Advanced Warfare, and the Day Zero Edition dlc for (Plus a special exo suit and avatar for buying this bundle). People complain about digital downloads and the game not actually being available on the 3rd but I'm not complaining. I prefer downloads because then I don't have to change discs, and for those complaining about not playing on day zero can relax. There is still an entire year left to play. I love it, the system works great however as of March 2nd, 2015 it's priced at $585, which is quite ridiculous. I pre-ordered the bundle on October 29, 2014 for $449.99 which was a bargain. I would not pay over $500 for it.

P.S. If you do buy this bundle, be aware that in some of the xbox ones there is a static/electric screeching sound that the system can make when turned on new out of box. Please return the system like I did and get net a new one.

This game lasted me 8 years of hard times, even through the pandemic. It’s still kicking strong even though I’ve moved on to series x.

I'm a PC gamer, so let's get that out of the way. A high end gaming rig in SLI or Crossfire will cost you $1500 easily. Every experienced PC player though knows that COD doesn't look dramatically better on a PC, as compared to a next gen console. Also, on PC the lobbies are empty after a few months.

I was deciding between a PS4 with COD and a full year of PS+ and this console. I chose this console pretty much because I like the dashboard better, and the Limited Edition Console. This console has special sounds when you turn it on and off and when you eject a disc. It may not mean anything to most, but I love the exclusivity on this console.

The choice between the PS4 with the COD disc bundle and a free year of PS+ is ten bucks more. It all depends on what you want. PS4 is a great system as well, but if all depends on the type of dashboard and game exclusives that you want to play. I preferred this dashboard as I found it to be user friendly, and the exclusivity of the Limited Edition console convinced me that I want this console. This bundle is really beautiful from an aesthetic point of view. For my taste, this is one of the best campaigns since Modern Warfare 2.
