J’ai acheté ce disque dur pour les sauvegardes et pour conserver mes fichiers importants. Il offre une grande capacité et il est très utile pour les photos, vidéos et documents. L’installation a été simple : brancher et utiliser.

Les vitesses de transfert en USB 3.0 sont bonnes pour les sauvegardes quotidiennes, et le disque fonctionne silencieusement. C’est rassurant d’avoir de l’espace supplémentaire lorsque le stockage interne commence à être plein.

Pour ceux qui cherchent un espace de stockage fiable à la maison, c’est un excellent choix.

Not the fastest External Hard Drive but excellent for back-ups and extra storage. You really can't beat the price of standard hard disk drives per TB of storage. A very reasonable cost for mass storage. If you don't mind it being a little slower it will make an excellent edition for your needs. So far there have been no problems. The disk is noticeable louder when it spins up but it's not very distracting. It uses the Square ended USB standard so it is backwards compatible with USB 1.0 all the way up to 3.0, but the older standards will effect transfer rates.

It really depends on what you are going to use it for. If you need mass storage for Back-ups - Great, Need mass storage for old video files - Great, If you need to store a lot of photos - Great. If you want to play and load games of the disk -Get a SSD drive or if you want to do anything really dynamic like live sound/video/photo editing - Get a SSD Drive. For my use backing up files and long term storage, this is an excellent solution.

The build quality of the case is excellent and has a sturdy feel. After spin up it is not noisy and the little light showing it is working would not bother someone trying to sleep.

Seagate has always been my goto hard drive.

Zero stars. Won't turn on after first use. Was able to use it after un boxing, able to turn on and load files. When I went to boot it up the second time to access those files, the drive appears fried as it won't show any signs of life. Can't access my files and seagate product support was unhelpful and closed my case without resolving it. For context, it was purchased in February 2026 and it's currently June. Lasted less than 6 months. No visible damage to the product, just doesn't work.

This is a very good external HDD and enclosure and easy to hook up. Recognized instantly by my computer system. Great Storage for backup of Digital photos and Documents
