Happy Juneteenth! Happy PRIDE!: The Bethink Bee, Issue 9
Dear friends, I had to say something that felt ridiculous at our first staff meeting in June: if the government cancels Juneteenth, we will still recognize and celebrate it, and it will be a day off. We’re not observing any “new” holidays in lieu of Juneteenth at Bethink. This month I’ve also noticed a much more muted PRIDE month. Corporations have pulled back sponsorships and open campaigns of support. There is a little flier about PRIDE at my neighborhood Starbucks, but… that’s all I’ve seen.
