Yes. The direct-download app includes a 7-day trial. The timer starts after you first launch CreateFiles+ and finish setup, not when you download the installer.

Why does the right-click menu not appear in some folders?

macOS blocks Finder extensions in iCloud Drive, OneDrive, Google Drive, Desktop, and Documents. In those folders, use the Finder toolbar button or the keyboard shortcut to open Quick Create.

Can CreateFiles+ make batches of files?

Yes. Batch Create can create up to 100 files at once from a blank file type or built-in template. Naming patterns support {{n}}, {{n:02}}, {{n:03}}, {{n:04}}, and {{date}}, with a preview before anything is written.

Can I share a whole folder setup?

How do I remove extra CreateFiles+ Finder extension entries?

Quit CreateFiles+, then run /bin/bash "/Applications/CreateFiles+.app/Contents/Resources/clean_extension_artifacts.sh" --include-installed-app-extension in Terminal. If CreateFiles+ is installed somewhere else, replace /Applications/CreateFiles+.app with the actual app path. The script unregisters CreateFiles+ Finder extension entries, removes stale local build copies, and restarts Finder. After it finishes, enable CreateFiles+ again in System Settings > Login Items & Extensions.

What does CreateFiles+ collect about me?

Nothing. There is no account, no tracking, and no cloud sync. License activation is secure, and your file names, file contents, and folder contents stay on your Mac.
