A former North Carolina cop — once awarded “police officer of the month” — allegedly plotted to gun down black people at a Louisiana festival, authorities said.

Christopher Gillum, of Chapel Hill, was wanted in Orleans Parish, Louisiana, for making “terroristic threats” and tracked by authorities to a hotel in Florida where he was arrested Wednesday night, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.

Gillum had allegedly been “heading to do a mass shooting at a large festival in Louisiana,” when he was found with roughly 200 rounds of ammunition and a handgun in his hotel room on Scenic Highway 98, cops said.

Though authorities didn’t identify the festival Gillum planned to attack, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, which routinely attracts hundreds of thousands of patrons, was slated to begin Thursday.

HOOVER, Ala. (WBRC) – A Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputy is on administrative leave following his arrest on drug charges.

Joshua David Nichols, 34, of Bessemer, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

He was arrested on Saturday, April 4, according to court records.

According to Hoover Police, on Friday, April 3, officers responded to a traffic accident on Patton Chapel Road near Oak Hill Drive.

While investigating the accident, Hoover Police say they found Nichols, one of the drivers involved, had what they believed to be methamphetamine.

A criminal complaint alleges Nichols had a “glass pipe with burn marks and a clear plastic baggie containing a crystallized hard-like substance.”

According to Hoover Police, Nichols was arrested and taken to the Hoover City Jail. After warrants were obtained, he was transferred to the Jefferson County Jail. Jail records do not show that he is still in custody.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD/Gray News) – A deputy with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has been fired after being arrested on a kidnapping charge.

Pima County authorities said 22-year-old Travis Reynolds was let go after the Tucson Police Department arrested him on Thursday.

An interim complaint states that Reynolds was on duty and was transporting a woman to the Pima County Jail when he commented on her appearance, calling her “hot.”

According to an interim complaint reported by Tucson news outlet KOLD, Reynolds allegedly commented on a female detainee’s appearance, shared a vape pen with her while she remained handcuffed, and suggested going to a hotel to have sex.

The complaint alleges that Reynolds showed the detainee sexually explicit videos, and also says he instructed the alleged victim to expose herself before taking her into the jail, according to KOLD. It also reported that jail surveillance video corroborated parts of the incident account.

” A Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputy accused of kidnapping a woman at gunpoint and assaulting her this week has been charged in connection to a similar incident that happened last year.

A St. Petersburg Police Department arrest report stated that on September 28, 2025, Brian Juliano, 45, pointed a gun at the victim and ordered her to the ground before handcuffing her with his department-issued handcuffs.

He was accused of spending “several hours” beating the victim, with police saying he “struck the victim in the face multiple times with a firearm, drug her around the residence by her hair, and urinated on her.” He eventually removed the handcuffs, but would not allow her to seek medical attention for her injuries and would not allow her to go to work for a week, according to the arrest report.”

“Arrest reports from a similar incident on Tuesday detail the alleged abuse Juliano subjected a woman to. The victim in this case was identified as a woman that he was dating, and it is not known if the victim was also involved in the 2025 incident.

St. Pete police said early that morning, the victim recorded Juliano “becoming physical” with her at their home. He grabbed a gun, took the phone away and stopped the recording after the victim told him she was going to call the police.

“Following the recording, (Juliano) forcefully pressed the firearm to the side of the victim’s head, threatened to kill her, and then forced the barrel of the firearm into her mouth,” the arrest report said.”

Just when you thought it was safe to send your kids to school again, right?

With police in the school what could possibly go wrong?

Well here is part of the problem; when P.D’s get bad cops, they assign them to school resource officer jobs. It makes great sense doesn’t it? Got a cop on the take or one with too much attitude and aggression? Send them to a school job where they can’t cause problems.

It doesn’t sound like a great idea, but it happens. They are “Good guys” and “just get out of line” so instead of ending their career and pensions they put them out to pasture…In the school system.

Bad cops are ‘Gonna cop…

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A former Duval County school police officer was arrested Thursday evening following a joint investigation by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and Duval County School Police, the district said.

Alexander Capasso was arrested after investigators served a warrant charging him with authority-figure soliciting or engaging in a romantic relationship with a student, unlawful use of a two-way communication device and tampering with evidence, the district statement said.

The district said its chief of police was notified about potentially criminal behavior by Capasso about four weeks ago and asked the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office for assistance. Capasso, who began working for the district in October 2025, resigned from Duval County School Police on March 2 while under investigation and was stripped of all law enforcement authority at that time, the statement said.

A 60-year-old corrections officer at Cayuga Correctional Facility was arrested Friday morning after authorities found cocaine and heroin on his person as he reported for work, according to New York State Police.

Gregory S. Gorman of Moravia was taken into custody on Friday following a joint investigation by State Police and the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations.

Investigators conducted a staff screening when Gorman arrived for duty at approximately 6:54 a.m. A trained narcotics detection canine alerted to drugs on Gorman, and a subsequent search revealed he was carrying approximately 28.2 grams of cocaine and approximately 10.3 grams of heroin packaged in roughly 50 paper sleeves.

Authorities also searched Gorman’s vehicle with his consent and found an additional 0.4 grams of cocaine, according to State Police.

This gives all new meaning to the phrase “Stop resisting”. Remember this guy when you get pulled over, especially if you are one of the people who believe that it would never happen to you because you don’t do anything wrong. Most folks are brainwashed into thinking that cops are the good guys; They are not. There are criminals in their lot just like every other segment of the population. They may be the good guy or they guy in this story. The only problem is they act under the color of law. You certainly wouldn’t pull over for a thug in a dark ghetto alley, but on a dark highway with cherries on you have no choice. Now you are under the control of a man, or men, with guns and hand cuffs. Give a man unlimited power, no witnesses and a gun and see what happens. Give a bunch of people the mistaken idea that these guys are heroes just doing the toughest job in the world and also see what happens. In the second story below from earlier this month, they cut a plea with this scumbag and let him off on the charges from one victim only. He got five years in prison, less than the penalty for income tax evasion.

According to DPS, seven additional tips came into their office following the arrest of former Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper, 43-year-old Tremaine Jackson.

Jackson was arrested on September 10 and currently faces 61 counts of sex abuse, kidnapping and fraud.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Jackson was put on leave in June after a complaint that he sexually assaulted a woman during a traffic stop.

During the original DPS investigation, several other victims were discovered.

It is believed Jackson held several female victims hostage when they were not facing criminal charges.”

PHOENIX — A former Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper has been sentenced to five years in prison and lifetime probation for sexual abuse and kidnapping. 

Tremaine Jackson was arrested in 2019 after a woman said the trooper had pressured her to touch him before letting her go during a traffic stop in the Valley, according to court documents. Other women then came forward with similar allegations.

Jackson pleaded guilty to the following charges: 

  • Attempted kidnap with sexual intent
  • Unlawful imprisonment with sexual intent
  • Unlawful sexual conduct by a peace officer
  • Bribery with sexual intent
  • Fraud with sexual intent
