We, students, faculty, and staff of Massachusetts institutions of Higher Education are alarmed, frightened, and angry by the relentless and cruel capture of our classmates and community members such as Any Lucia Lopez Belloza and countless others. We demand:
Beyond our campus-specific demands, we also seek momentum on the Dream Act, PROTECT Act and community demands for no collaboration with ICE in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and across the country. We believe that action at any level of administration (campus, municipal, state, or federal) is crucial to ensure supportive communities free from fear on and off our campuses.
