The 2026 event took place on June 13th – we’ll be back with our Mop Up Pop Up date soon!
We were again in the CHB Municipal Theatre in Waipawa, with a fun and vibrant market packed with fabric and sewing treasures. You could browse an exciting mix of vintage and modern sewing and upholstery fabric, patterns, haberdashery, and all sorts of crafty goodies.
It’s a wonderful day out for the sewing community — a chance to share stashes, swap stories, and celebrate our shared love of textiles.
Fabric-a-brac is entirely volunteer-run, and every dollar of profit from the Hawke’s Bay event goes directly to supporting Cranford Hospice. With an incredible lineup of stallholders, this is a must-visit for anyone who loves fabric and sewing. You’re going to adore this year’s event!
Selling and donating fabric
If you want to have a stall next year go on the mailing list – best way of finding out when applications open! 🙂
