Show Category Timeline by Hourly
Currently, under "Email API/SMTP" → "Stats" → "Email Categories" → "Timeline", the data is displayed in a daily (date-based) format. Is it possible to add an hourly view as well, so that the statistics can be displayed on an hourly basis? Why is this feature needed? To monitor email sending frequency at a more granular level. The current daily timeline only shows aggregated totals per day, which makes it hard to see how volume is distributed within a day. An hourly view would let us track sending patterns and spot spikes as they happen. How do you intend to use it? We'd use it to monitor hourly sending frequency against our hourly limit, identify unusual bursts or peak-sending periods during the day, and better understand our sending behavior over time.

Simplified company domain verification
Many senders use a dedicated sending domain while linking to their primary company domain throughout their emails. While this is a common and legitimate setup, when these domains appear unrelated or unverified, the traffic can resemble phishing behavior and trigger additional scrutiny. We want to help customers reduce that risk by introducing a lightweight way to verify ownership of company and customer domains without requiring them to be configured as sending domains. What we're planning A new Company domain tool dedicated to ownership verification Simple DNS-based verification requiring only a verification TXT record No need to configure the domain for sending traffic Reduced risk of compliance reviews or suspended sending caused by domain ownership concerns

CNIL compliance
To align with CNIL (France's data protection authority), we're adding the ability for recipients to opt out of email tracking. This gives them control over open and click tracking and helps you meet consent requirements.

Simple Mobile View (remove sidebar)
We use Mailtrap to do software demos with an iPhone resolution sized browser window. This used to work great, however, you recently introduced a persistent left side navigation bar that we can’t collapse entirely. Please collapse this menu to hamburger menu when using mobile phone size browser resolution, or let us simply turn it off

API Endpoints to list Contacts by list and account
We will be soon working on extending the API with endpoints for retrieving contacts, both at the list level and account level. The main idea is to support: listing all contacts within a specific contact list listing all contacts across the entire account This would be especially valuable for teams working with dynamic audiences, where contacts are frequently updated and need to stay in sync across multiple tools.

API Endpoint to add single email to suppression list
It would be very useful to allow adding a single email address to the suppression list via API. Currently, managing suppression lists via API can feel limited, especially when there’s a need to quickly suppress an individual recipient based on real-time events (like user actions, complaints, or internal logic).

Planned
Add ability to allowlist recipient domains to prevent potential abuse
Allow users to restrict transactional email sending to a predefined list of recipient domains on a per–API key (or SMTP credentials) basis. It will add extra security layer to protect both sender reputation and mailtrap's infrastructure in case of credentials exposure.

Adding 'titles' to steps of the email automation flows
When creating email automation flows, it would help if steps could be named, so you get a clear overview what is happening where. Currently, when using multiple conditional splits, for instance, it get’s cluttered, and you have to click on every split, to see what is happening.

Mobile and Tablet size setting
As part of QA testing, we often need to be able to test specific px widths. e.g. 360px minimum to cover testing on Samsung devices that aren’t the Ultra variants. Being able to set the default mobile and tablet width/length would greatly improve testing functionality.

Automated Domain Reputation Monitoring
For high-volume senders, reputation issues are often invisible until it's too late — engagement crashes, messages get blocked, and revenue takes a hit. We want to change that by bringing domain reputation monitoring directly into Mailtrap, so you can catch and act on problems before ISPs do. Why it matters You only find out you're in trouble when it's already affecting delivery Proactive monitoring lets you throttle or warm domains before things escalate Blocked transactional or promotional emails = real revenue loss What we're planning Internal sending stats analysis Per ISP deliverability analysis Bounce category analysis Blacklist monitoring Google Postmaster Tools integration A reputation dashboard in a user panel Automated email alerts Webhooks enabling piping signals into own monitoring or incident management tools We'll share updates as we move through each phase. In the meantime — would any of these signals be especially useful for your use case? Let us know in the comments!

Integration tests should not reuse event_id across types
All of the sample payloads use the same event IDs, so you can’t test different types if your service is aware of duplicate event IDs. It’d be nice if they were randomized when you switched tabs altogether so you can also test multiple events of each type.

WordPress RSS post
In Brevo, I can ask the service to automatically generate a newsletter from the last WordPress post(s). It is a kind of automation that creates a message using a given template that has support for getting the RSS fields, subject, date, excerpt, etc,... I have been using this in Brevo for a decade, and in Mailchimp as well. Every week, I get my newsletter sent with my blog's latest updates. That could maybe also used for other kind of RSS files as well.

Email to List
The possibility to create an email address linked to a template and to a list, and when you send to that email, the message is sent to the list with that template. Mailjet has a similar feature. As an independent software developer, I like to automate and get things done as quickly as possible. The possibility, for example, of sending an update notification to a group of customers with my regular mail reader is a plus. Mailtrap would apply the template to my message and deliver it on my behalf.

Display contact list ID in list
My external project uses the API to post a contact to a give contact list however the API only accepts contact list IDs. The ID is not shown anywhere in the contact list. I can only find it by decoding the URL parameters in the list link. Recommendation Display contact list ID directly in the list view Allow the API to search for a particular list by name As it sits now I have to either decode the ID in the link or search through all contact lists, which may be problematic as campaigns grow.
